Biography

– At the start of his career, Dansereau wrestled as El PoPo. He changed it to ‘Player Uno’ upon hearing that the future Sami Zayn wanted to be known as ‘Player One’
– In the mid-2000s, Dansereau wrestled as Flip D Berger in a number of indy promotions
– Player Uno debuted for CHIKARA in February 2006, working the Tag World Grand Prix events, though not the tournament itself
– On June 17, 2006, Uno defeated Dan Paysan & Kenny The Bastard to win the IWS Canadian Title
– On August 13, Uno defeated Dan Paysan, Jimmy Stone, Sexxxy Eddy & Jagged to retain the IWS Canadian Title
– On August 26, Uno defeated Jake Matthews to retain the IWS Canadian Title
– In January 2007, Uno and the future Stu Grayson (then known as Stupefied) worked as The Super Smash Brothers for the first time, competing in an IWS Tag Team Title Number One Contender’s Match
