– Kirsch began his career in California’s APW in 2005
– On February 11, 2006, Kirsch & Nathan Rulez (later known as EGO) won a Battle Royal to win the vacant APW Tag Team Titles
– On March 4, EGO defeated Scotty Aboot & Cheerleader Melissa to retain the APW Tag Team Titles
– On March 25, EGO defeated Sean Pulver & Tito Aquino to retain the APW Tag Team Titles
– On April 1, EGO defeated Joey Ryan & Scotty Aboot to retain the APW Tag Team Titles
– On June 24, EGO defeated The Young Bucks (Mr Instant Replay & Slick Nick) to retain the APW Tag Team Titles
– On August 26, EGO defeated The James Gang (BG & Kip) to retain the APW Tag Team Titles
