Biography

– Puma King began his career working primarily for Mexico’s IWRG promotion
– In early 2008, Puma King joined CMLL
– In late 2012, Puma King altered his ringname, becoming simply ‘Puma’
– On June 23, 2015, Puma defeated Malefico to win the Occidente Light Heavyweight Title
– At CMLL’s 82nd Anniversary Show, Puma, Virus & Disturbio defeated The Panther, Esfinge & Fuego
– On March 13, 2016, Puma defeated Omar Brunetti to retain the Occidente Light Heavyweight Title
– Puma worked CMLL’s FantasticaMania tour of Japan in January 2018
– In July 2018, Puma jumped to AAA, reverting to Puma King once more. He would also begin taking regular US bookings
– Puma King competed on Impact Wrestling’s brief Mexican tour in January 2019
– On August 25, 2019, Puma King defeated Yuki Ueno to win the DDT Iron Man Heavy Metal Title. Given the nature of the title, he would lose and regain it several times over the next two weeks
– On September 20, Puma King defeated Bandido at a PWG event to regain the DDT Iron Man Heavy Metal Title, but would lose it back later that day
