NJPW Has Biggest Financial Year In History of The company

The latest financial report for Bushiroad, the parent company for NJPW, (via the Wrestling Observer) reveals that New Japan Pro Wrestling had its most successful financial year in history, grossing $50 million.

The total is up 10.8 percent from last years numbers. The financial report documents numbers from August 1, 2018 to July 31, 2019.

NJPW drew a total paid attendance of 436,000 fans, marking the sixth straight year paid attendance has increased. NJPW ran fewer live events than the previous year but ran larger buildings this year.

House show revenue for New Japan was up 12.8 percent from the previous fiscal year. NJPW reportedly did around $25 million in ticket sales (average ticket price at $57.33 per head), $15 million in merchandise and $10 million in content, which is New Japan World and television.

New Japan World subscribers were listed at above 100,000, though no firm number was reported
