The opening credits roll. Beth Phoenix, Mauro Ranallo, and Nigel McGuinness are on commentary.

Match #1 – Singles Match: Aliyah (w/Vanessa Borne) vs. Mia Yim
Aliyah takes Yim to the mat, but Yim comes back with a shoulder tackle. Aliyah goes for an enzuiguri, but Yim dodges it and delivers a dropkick. Borne distracts Yim and Aliyah slams her into the ring post. Aliyah goes for the cover, but Yim kicks out at two. Aliyah slams Yim to the mat and goes for another cover, but Yim kicks out again. Aliyah drops a knee and sends Yim to the corner. Yim comes back with a boot to the face and locks in the Tarantula submission. Aliyah comes back with an enzuiguri and goes for the cover, but Yim kicks out at two. Yim applies a rear naked choke and then goes for a knee drop, but Yim dodges it. Yim sends Aliyah into the turnbuckle and then delivers a Cannonball in the corner. Yim delivers a belly-to-belly suplex and Aliyah rolls to the floor. Yim takes Aliyah and Borne out with a suicide dive. Yim rolls Aliyah back into the ring and delivers a fall-away slam. Yim delivers Protect Ya Neck and gets the pin fall.
Winner: Mia Yim
-After the match, Yim slams Borne into the steps. She goes to the announce table and calls out Shayna Baszler.

Footage of the aftermath of last week’s Steel Cage Match is shown, when Io Shirai attacked Candice LeRae. William Regal is in his office, and gives an update on LeRae. Before he can get too far, The Forgotten Sons barge in and ask what’s going with The Street Profits making matches. They say they want an NXT Tag Team Championship Match, but he says they had that chance but got themselves disqualified. He says that puts them at the end of the line. They say he will regret it. Regal says The Street Profits suggested a match between them and Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan, and it will take place next week.

Tonight’s main event: Roderick Strong vs. Tyler Breeze.

A vignette with Adam Cole airs. He goes to a shop called Gargano’s, and it turns out it belongs to Johnny Gargano’s family. He hangs an autographed picture of himself on the wall. Cole gets some pizza from the place and goes to a wrestling school. He talks to all the guys in the shop about how they love Gargano, but Gargano is full of crap. Cole says Gargano got lucky, and anybody can get lucky once. He says Gargano gave them a false sense of hope, and it was mean and cruel. He tells them to grab a pizza, go home, and give up. He tells them to get out of the school, get out of the city, and find a new hero.

Match #2 – Singles Match: Kushida vs. Jeff Parker
Kushida takes Parker to the mat and applies a front face-lock. Kushida delivers an elbow and and then applies a side headlock. Kushida takes Parker down to the a handspring back elbow. Kushida applies an arm-bar and drops down onto Parker’s arm. Parker comes back with a forearm shot, but Kushida takes him down with a hip toss and delivers a basement dropkick. Kushida locks in the Sakuraba Lock and Parker taps out.
Winner: Kushida

Tyler Breeze has an interview backstage. He says he is thinking about The Undisputed Era and how they always say the exact same thing every time they talk. He says he needs to give them a reminder that this place was NX-Breeze long before they were here.

A vignette for Killian Dain airs. He is returning to NXT soon.

Match #3 – NXT Breakout Tournament First Round Match: Isaiah “Swerve” Scott vs. Cameron Grimes
Grimes takes Scott to the mat and applies a waist-lock. Scott counters and applies a side headlock. Grimes turns it into an arm-bar, but Scott takes him down with an arm-drag. Grimes clubs Scott in the back a few times, bit Scott delivers a head-scissors take down and a dropkick. Scott delivers a jab to the jaw and then delivers an elbow from the ropes. Scott goes for the cover, but Grimes kicks out at one. Grimes comes back with a knee strike and then drives his knee into Scott’s back. Grimes wrenches Scott’s neck and then works on his arm. Grimes sends Scott off the ropes and drops him with a clothesline. Grimes goes for the cover, but Scott kicks out at two. Grimes applies an arm-bar, but Scott counters with a right hand. Grimes kicks Scott in the face, but Scott comes back with a Rana out of the corner.
Grimes sends Scott to the floor, but Scott lands on his feet. Scott kicks Grimes in the face and drops him with a Flatliner. Scott goes for the cover, but Grimes kicks out at two. Scott comes off the ropes, but Grimes rolls through and delivers a sit-out power bomb. Grimes goes for the cover, but Scott kicks out at two. Grimes goes back to the arm-bar, but Scott gets free and delivers a forearm. Scott kicks Grimes in the leg and sends him to the floor. Scott takes him out with a suicide dive and tosses him back into the ring. Grims delivers a boot to the face, but Scott delivers a knee strike. Grimes takes Scott down and delivers a double stomp and gets the pin fall.
Winner: Cameron Grimes

Match #4 – Singles Match: Bianca Belair vs. Priscilla Zuniga
Bianca pie-faces Zuniga and clubs her across the chest. Belair beats Zuniga down and tosses her across the ring. Belair drops Zuniga with a military press slam. Belair delivers two power bombs and slams her into the turnbuckle. Belair hits the KOD and gets the pin fall.
Winner: Bianca Belair

Roderick Strong is warming up backstage. The main event is up next.

Match #5 – Singles Match: Roderick Strong vs. Tyler Breeze
They lock up and Strong takes Breeze to the mat and applies a wrist-lock. Breeze gets free, but Strong gets the hold applied again. Strong turns it into a side headlock, but Breeze gets free and takes Strong to the corner. Breeze stomps away on Strong, but Strong comes back with a kick to the face. Strong delivers a chop, but Breeze comes back with a dropkick. Strong tosses Breeze to the floor and goes for a dropkick, but Breeze dodges it and delivers a chop. Strong comes back and slams Breeze into the ring steps and the barricade. Strong tosses Breeze back into the ring, but Breeze fights back. Strong drops Breeze to the mat and goes for the cover, but Breeze kicks out. Strong applies a submission, but Breeze fights out with an elbow shot. Strong comes back with an elbow of his own, but Breeze delivers a right hand.
Breeze delivers an enzuiguri that sends Strong to the floor. Strong gets back into the ring, but Breeze drops him with a Backstabber. Breeze goes for the cover, but Strong kicks out at two. Breeze kicks Strong in the face, but Strong comes back with an enzuiguri. Strong delivers a chop and they exchange shots on the ropes. Strong delivers an superplex and goes for the cover, but Breeze kicks out at two. Breeze kicks Strong away and delivers an enzuiguri. Breeze delivers a Super Model Kick and goes for the cover, but Strong kicks out at two. They exchange shots and Breeze delivers an enzuiguri. Breeze goes up top, but Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly rush the ring. Breeze disposes of them, but Strong hits the End of Heartache and gets the pin fall.
Winner: Roderick Strong
