Vince McMahon Still the Creative Lead of RAW Last Night

PWInsider has a few more updates on what was going on backstage during last night’s Monday Night Raw, that was said to have been heavily influenced by Paul Heyman. According to PWInsider’s report on the creative process, this week’s show was “no different from any other week,” and Vince McMahon was still the leading person in charge.

This probably explains Meltzer’s earlier statement of Vince McMahon and Ed Koskey being the main two talking about the show during the production meeting, with Paul Heyman reportedly not being present. Additionally, PWInsider states that McMahon and Paul Heyman were both at the gorilla position for most of the show. While Heyman did have heavy involvement with last night’s broadcast, Vince McMahon still had final approval over everything.

Also, Eric Bischoff was reportedly not backstage at last night’s Raw. As noted, he’s expected to be at Smackdown Live tonight.
