5/28/19 WWE Smackdown Recap
Before SmackDown goes live we see highlights from SmackDown with Dolph Ziggler attacking Kofi Kingston.
Kevin Owens comes out and says he was going to kick of SmackDown with a KO show, I don’t want to be here in Oklahoma, people are not worthy of it, I get to beat the hell out of WWE Champion Kofi Kingston because I have to tell you, I want to dish out punishment, I have nothing to do with what happened to Big E last week, I did not attack him because I am a good person, if New Day wants to blame me for what I am responsible, poor little Woodsy, Kofi Kingston fairytale ends at Super Showdown when he loses the title against Dolph Ziggler, and then thank me and I can get a match because it is about Kevin Owens.
Kofi comes out and says stop with the lies, you lied about being a member of the New Day, you are a liar, you are saying you will soften me up for Dolph Ziggler, you won’t soften me up, this is the night you pay even though for attacking Woods, re-injuring knee of Big E, you leave understanding why I am your WWE Champion.

Non-Title Singles Match
WWE Champion: Kofi Kingston Vs Kevin Owens
Match starts with a dropkicks by Kofi, Owens regains control and stomps on Kingston, Owens in control with chops and Kingston regains control and then Owens takes Kingston down with a hairpull

When we return Owens in control and he tosses Kingston to the outside by hanging him on top rope, Kevin nails his senton on the outside. Owens brings Kingston back in and Owens nails a short clothesline, 2 count, Owens with a chinlock on Kingston, Owens goes for a Boston Crab blocked by Kingston, Kingston with a kick to Owens and sends him over the top rope and then Air Kofi takes out Kevin Owens. Kingston nails a SOS for a 2 count, Kingston in control as we go to break.
Commercial break
When we return Kofi is sent to the outside and Owens jumps off mat onto Kingston, Kofi makes it back in the ring at 9, Owens climbs to the top rope and nails a frog splash for a 2, Owens goes for another top rope move but Kofi stops it, Kofi with punches on Owens and goes for a super-plex but Owens headbutts Kingston of the top and does a rolling Senton for a two. Owens goes for Pop Up Powerbomb but Kingston counters into Trouble in Paradise for the win.

Backstage we see Shane McMahon with Elias and Drew McIntyre and later tonight is Shane McMahon appreciation night.
We see WWE 24/7 Champion R-Truth with Carmella and then we see Drake Maverick putting posters on the door.

Music of Daniel Bryan hits and he and Rowan the SmackDown Tag Team Champions come out. Kayla Braxton says what do you want the WWE Universe needs to know: Daniel Bryan says the Tag Team Division is a joke, speaking of jokes Rowan has a joke and does a stupid Knock Knock Joke. Bryan says we have ambition and purpose, not only we will be the best champions but dedicate our lives to the planet, people here wasted Memorial Day by eating the beautiful animals, and while shoving hamburgers were destroying pigs and cows, all creatures have names, people of Oklahoma are worse than anybody, Oklahoma is a leader of fracking, deep oil drilling and brings more earthquakes, Save the Tag Team Division and the Save the Planet because we are the Planet’s Tag Team Champions, Kayla says there are teams who want to challenge you. Music of Heavy Machinery hits and they come out and Tucker says no doubt you are a great tag team, it is time to get down to business and that business is those Tag Team Championships. A referee runs down and Daniel Bryan we accept your challenge but wont happen here in Oklahoma.
We see Bayley backstage with the SmackDown Womens Championship and still to come Bayley Vs Lacey Evans later tonight.
We see Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville handing out Hers Magazine which features Mandy Rose.

Womens Singles Match
Carmella Vs Mandy Rose
Carmella in control of Rose and Mandy takes her down with a running knee for a two count, Carmella nails her Bronco Buster in the corner for a two count, Sonya distracts Carmella allowing Mandy Rose to nail a drop kick and rollup for the win.

We see R-Truth backstage and Jinder tries to pin him but escapes and then superstars chase after him and he hides and then Drake Maverick runs into him but R-Truth runs away.

Shane McMahon Appreciation Night
Shane McMahon comes out with Elias and Drew McIntyre. Gregg Hamilton does the introduction. Shane says I was hesitant about Drew idea of Appreciation, I enjoy my life and being out here and quickly and just being a humble man, came back to help run a family business, looking at you and seeing smiles on your faces, we have something to ensure you have smiles on your face when you leave tonight. We see a VT featuring Shane McMahon in matches. Shane says the video was educational for one person in particular and that is Roman Reigns, the McMahon have been putting food on your families table for generations, you bit the hand that feeds you and will beat some respect into you.
Elias says that was powerful and has written a song for Shane McMahon, Elias sings the song. We see R-Truth and then Drake Maverick comes out and R-Truth pins him to retain title.

R-Truth def Drake Maverick.
Then Shane McMahon, Drew McIntyre and Elias triple team R-Truth and then another match

Winner and New 24/7 Champion Elias
After the match Shane McMahon says tonight it will be Drew McIntyre and Elias Vs R-Truth and Roman Reigns in a match and the 24/7 rule is suspended till after the match.
We see Kayla Braxton backstage and interviews Lacey Evans and Charlotte Flair and Lacey Evans will put Bayley in her place.
Non-Title Womens Division Singles Match
SmackDown Womens Champion Bayley Vs Lacey Evans
Charlotte Flair is on commentary.
Bayley in control of Lacey Evans but Lacey gets to the rope, Bayley takes down Lacey. Lacey wraps Bayley in the ropes, then chops to Bayley in the corner, Evans goes for a rollup but no luck, Bayley takes down Lacey for a two count. Lacey takes down Bayley and nails rolling elbow for a two count. Lacey sends Bayley to the outside and Charlotte stands over her as we go to break
Commercial break
When we return Bayley takes down Lacey with a crossbody for a two count, Lacey regains control and takes out a wipe and wipes her armpits and throws it into Bayley and then nails a bronco buster, Bayley nailed a dropkick through the bottom rope on Lacey Evans and then rolls Lacey into the ring and then Bayley punches Charlotte Flair, then Charlotte tries to roll in the ring and then Bayley rolls up Lacey Evans for the win.
Winner via Pinfall SmackDown Womens Champion Bayley
After the match Lacey Evans tries to attack Charlotte but Charlotte escapes and takes down Lacey Evans.
We see highlights of feud between Randy Orton and Triple H culminating at Super Showdown
Next week on Raw The Undertaker appears.

Tag Team Match
Roman Reigns and R-Truth Vs Drew McIntyre and WWE 24/7 Champion Elias w/Shane McMahon
As R-Truth comes out McIntyre and Elias appear attack R-Truth. Reigns regains control and drops Elias with a Samoan Drop, Truth and McIntyre tagged in, McIntyre drops Elias with Glasgow Kiss and then McIntyre tosses Truth into the barrier as we go to break.
Commercial break
When we return R-Truth in control of Elias till a short clothesline by Elias taking down Truth, McIntyre tagged in and in control of R-Truth. Elias beats down on Truth and McIntyre tagged in, Truth regains control by sending Elias into the ring post, Elias and Reigns both tagged in and flying forearm to Elias and then punch takes down McIntyre. Boot to Elias, Reigns goes for Superman Punch but nails McIntyre with one then does a Drive By on Elias, Shane punches Roman Reigns and then McIntyre goes for a Claymore but Reigns moves and he hits the table, then Reigns nails a spear on Elias for the win.

After the match Roman Reigns spears Elias again and then we have a WWE 24/7 Championship Match
