Backstage Update on Impact Wrestling Refusing to Grant Killer Kross a Release

As previously reported, Killer Kross requested his release from Impact Wrestling, but Impact was not willing to grant his release. PWInsider released an update with more information on the situation today.

According to the latest report, Impact Wrestling attempted to restructure Killer Kross’ deal, but since Kross signed a contract, they expect him to honor the contract. Additionally, Impact officials believe since Kross was signed when he wasn’t getting interest from WWE, he used the Impact platform to raise his profile, so just because he’s now getting interest from elsewhere doesn’t mean he can walk away from his current ongoing contract.
