The Miz’s Dad Reveals What Vince McMahon Told Him After Wrestlemania 35

The Miz’s dad, George Mizanan, was recently a guest on the Jobbing Outpodcast. During the interview, he spoke about his appearance at Wrestlemania 35.

George ended up getting involved in the match between the Miz and Shane McMahon at Wrestlemania 35. The moment where George put his fists up in the ring has become an internet meme.

On the podcast, George revealed that it actually wasn’t planned for him to get into the ring with Shane during the event. This was improvised after the Miz was busted open.

George was also legitimately injured when Shane kneed him. He says that the knee broke one of his ribs. George also revealed what Vince McMahon told him backstage after the event was over. Here is a quote:

“Vince McMahon came up to me and said that it was his favorite part of the whole Wrestlemania, which was one of the greatest compliments that I have ever gotten.”
