WWE Worlds Collide: NXT vs. NXT Alumni Recap

Byron Saxton and Percy Watson welcome us to the show and run down some of the card for the event.

Match #1 – Singles Match: Kassius Ohno vs. Aiden English
English backs Ohno into the corner with right hands and then connects with a kick to the face. English goes up top, but Ohno shoves him to the floor. Ohno delivers a right hand and tosses him back into the ring. Ohno connects with a knee and a kick, and then clubs English across the back. Ohno delivers a cross-face shot and then applies a front face-lock submission. Ohno backs English into the corner and delivers a knee to the midsection. Ohno goes for the cover, but English kicks out. Ohno goes for the Camel Clutch, but English fights out. Ohno holds onto English and bars both of his arms. English gets free and connects with a few right hands. Ohno comes back with a kick, but English drops him with a DDT. English goes for the cover, but Ohno kicks out. English sends Ohno to the apron and delivers an uppercut that sends him to the floor. English takes Ohno out with a suicide dive.
English tosses Ohno back into the ring and goes up top. English connects with a senton and goes for the cover, but Ohno kicks out. Ohno sends English into the corner and connects with a kick. English comes back with an elbow shot, but Ohno kicks him in the face and then connects with the rolling elbow and gets the pin fall.
Winner: Kassius Ohno

Match #2 – Dominik Dijakovic vs. Luke Harper
They lock up and neither man gains an advantage. Dijakovic backs Harper into the corner, but Harper shoves him away and locks in a side headlock. Dijakovic sends him off the ropes, but neither man gains an advantage on the shoulder tackles. Dijakovic slaps Harper in the face, but Harper sends him to the floor. Harper shoves Dijakovic into the barricade and then tosses him back into the ring. Harper sets up for a suplex, but Dijakovic blocks it and backs Harper into the corner. Dijakovic delivers elbow strikes and then tosses Harper across the ring. Dijakovic goes for the cover, but Harper kicks out. Dijakovic delivers a few clubbing shots and then tosses Harper across the ring again. Dijakovic goes for the cover, but Harper kicks out again. Dijakovic backs Harper into the corner and slaps him across the chest.
Dijakovic goes for a suplex, but Harper counters with a DDT. Harper drops Dijakovic with short-arm clotheslines and then delivers a right hand. Harper connects with a senton and a boot to the face. Harper goes for the cover, but Dijakovic kicks out. Harper delivers an uppercut, but Dijakovic kicks him in the face. Dijakovic comes off the ropes, but Harper counters and slams him to the mat. Harper goes for the cover, but Dijakovic kicks out at two. Harper goes to the ropes, but Dijakovic catches him with a chokeslam from the ropes. Dijakovic goes for the cover, but Harper kicks out. Dijakovic and Harper go to the apron and Dijakovic lands a few right hands and an elbow strike. Harper comes back with an uppercut and a few slaps to the chest. Harper delivers a Michiniku Driver from the apron to the floor, but both men get back into the ring at nine.
Harper delivers an inverted suplex and goes for the cover, but Dijakovic kicks out at two. Dijakovic rolls to the floor, but Harper takes him out with a suicide dive. Harper tosses Dijakovic back into the ring and goes for the discus clothesline, but Dijakovic counters. Harper comes back with a clothesline, but Dijakovic delivers one of his own. Dijakovic goes for the cover, but Harper kicks out at two. Dijakovic goes up top, but Harper catches him and climbs as well. Harper goes for a suplex, bu Dijakovic lands on his feet and delivers a superkick. Harper goes to the floor, but Dijakovic connects with a suicide dive. Dijakovic tosses Harper back into the ring and connects with a springboard elbow drop. Dijakovic goes for the cover, but Harper kicks out at two. Dijakovic connects with a moonsault and goes for another cover, but Harper kicks out again.
Dijakovic pulls Harper to his feet and delivers a few shots. Harper comes right back and connects with the discus clothesline for the pin fall.
Winner: Luke Harper
After the match, Harper extends his hand for a handshake, which Dijakovic accepts.

Match #3 – Tag Team Match: SAnitY (Alexander Wolfe and Killian Dain) (w/Eric Young) vs. The Undisputed ERA (Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly)
O’Reilly and Wolfe start the match. O’Reilly goes behind for a waist-lock, but Wolfe counters and tosses him across the ring. O’Reilly grabs Wolfe’s leg, but Wolfe gets free and connects with a forearm shot. O’Reilly rolls to the floor and Dain goes after him. Fish and Young stare each other down as well as O’Reilly gets back into the ring. Fish tags in and delivers a knee to Wolfe. Wolfe comes back with a knee of his own and then slams Fish to the mat. Wolfe goes for the cover, but Fish kicks out. Dain tags in and takes Fish down with a cross-body. Dain goes for the cover, but Fish kicks out. Wolfe tags back in and delivers a forearm shot and then drops a few knees to Fish. Wolfe goes for the cover, but Fish kicks out. Wolfe suplexes O’Reilly to the floor, as well. Wolfe picks Fish up, but Fish elbows his way free and backs Wolfe into the corner.
Fish connects with body shots and O”Reilly leg whips Wolfe into the ropes. Fish takes Wolfe down and then connects with body shots again. O’Reilly tags in and he and Fish double-team Wolfe. O’Reilly works over Wolfe’s knee and Fish tags back in. Fish connects with a senton, but Wolfe comes back with uppercuts. Wolfe and Fish exchange shots, but Fish takes Wolfe’s knee out and tags in O’Reilly. Fish and O’Reilly go for kicks, but Wolfe dodges them. Wolfe tosses Fish to the mat and O’Reilly to the floor and makes the tag. Dain takes down Fish and O’Reilly with clotheslines and then slams them both to the mat. Dain splashes them in the corner and then delivers a dropkick to Fish. Dain slams O’Reilly and connects with a senton. Dain splashes O’Reilly from the second rope and goes for the cover, but Fish breaks it up.
O’Reilly comes back with a kick and Fish tags in. Fish and O’Reilly splash Dain in the corner and then Fish suplexes him across the ring. Fish goes for the cover, but Wolfe breaks it up and all four men are down. Dain tosses O’Reilly into the corner and then he and Wolfe kick O’Reilly in the head. Wolfe delivers a back-stabber to Fish and then Dain hits a senton. Wolfe goes for the cover, but Fish kicks out at two. Dain tags back in, but O’Reilly sends Wolfe to the floor and tags in. O’Reilly takes Dain’s knee out and then he and Fish hit the High-Low and O’Reilly gets the pin fall.
Winners: The Undisputed ERA
After the match, Fish and O’Reilly continue the attack on Dain, but Young gets into the ring. He delivers right hands and clotheslines to Fish and O’Reilly. Young delivers a neck-breaker to O’Reilly and then Fish and O’Reilly get out of the ring as SAnitY stands tall.

Match #4 – Singles Match: Roderick Strong vs. Tyler Breeze
Strong applies a wrist-lock and drops Breeze to the mat. Breeze comes back, but Strong applies a front face-lock, but Breeze comes back and sends Strong into the corner. Breeze slingshots Strong into the corner and goes up top. Strong cuts him off and slams him on the turnbuckle. Breeze goes to the floor, but Strong follows him out and delivers a chop. Strong backs Breeze into the apron and then delivers another chop. Strong tosses Breeze back into the ring and then delivers a back-breaker. Strong stomps away on Breeze and backs him into the corner. Strong kicks Breeze in the midsection a few times and then applies a front face-lock. Breeze fights back, but Strong takes him down with a dropkick. Strong goes for the cover, but Breeze kicks out at two. Strong pounds away on Breeze and then stomps him down on the mat.
Strong delivers another back-breaker, then another, and stretches Breeze over his knee. Breeze comes back with a few right hands, but Strong comes back with a chop. Strong delivers a gut-buster and goes for the cover, but Breeze kicks out at two. Strong applies a rear chin-lock, but Breeze fights back with a few shots to the midsection. Strong comes back and slams Breeze to the mat and goes for the cover, but Breeze kicks out at two. Strong applies a modified Gory Special, but Breeze fights back with elbow shots. Breeze delivers body shots and a jaw-breaker. Breeze connects with a right hand and then an enzuiguri. Breeze goes for the cover, but Strong kicks out at two. Breeze takes Strong down to the mat and then delivers a superkick. Breeze goes for the cover, but Strong kicks out at two. Strong comes back, then both men exchange shots.
Breeze stomps Strong down in the corner and then catches Strong with a roll-up for two. Breeze goes for the Beauty Shot, but Strong counters with a back-breaker. Strong goes for the cover, but Breeze kicks out at two. Strong takes Breeze to the corner, but Breeze counters with a boot to the face. Breeze goes for the Unprettier, but Strong counters. Strong slams Breeze to the mat and goes for the cover, but Breeze kicks out at two. Breeze catches Strong with a roll-up, but Strong kicks out at two. Breeze connects with an enzuiguri and then delivers the Unprettier and gets the pin fall.
Winner: Tyler Breeze
