3/27/19 WWE NXT UK Results
1. Jordan Devlin defeated Dan Moloney
-Kassius Ohno cuts a promo. He offers a fake apology for his actions against Ashton Smith last week. He then turns his attention to Travis Banks and says he will knock out Banks just like he did Smith.
-A vignette for Dave Mastiff airs. He says he will never show weakness and it shows various clips of him lifting weights.
-We see that Toni Storm will defend the NXT UK Women’s Championship against Jinny in two weeks. We then see a promo from Jinny, who represented NXT UK on a recent tour of India. She says she will take the UK Women’s title in two weeks.
2. Rhea Ripley defeated Xia Brookside
-After the match, Ripley says she is the most dominant woman in NXT UK, but she is interrupted by the debuting Piper Niven. Niven says Ripley is no longer the most dominant woman in NXT UK.
-Isla Dawn is backstage. She says she is excited that Niven is in NXT UK and is excited for the competition. Kay Lee Ray interrupts and says she likes competition as well, and Dawn may be next on her list.
-A vignette for WALTER airs with various NXT UK Superstars hyping him up.
-Trent Seven is interviewed backstage. He says he is proud of Tyler Bate’s win last week and then addresses Joe Coffey. He says he will be waiting whenever Coffey wants to confront him face-to-face.
-Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aicher cut a promo. They are disgusted by the antics of Amir Jordan and Kenny Williams and say there is no room for funny business in NXT UK. They say they will get rid of Jordan and Williams if they have to.
3. Mark Andrews vs. Noam Dar (No Contest)
-The referee called the match when both men went down following a reverse-rana attempt from Andrews. Both men were checked by trainers and stretchered out, but gave a thumbs up on their way out.
-We see that Isla Dawn vs. Kay Lee Ray and Joe Coffey vs. Trent Seven will take place on next week’s show.
-A contract signing between the WWE United Kingdom Champion, Pete Dunne, and the number on contender, WALTER, takes place. Dunne says it’s not only the NXT UK Universe that wants this match, he wants it as well. He says at NXT TakeOver: New York, WALTER will know what everyone else has known for 674 days: he is the Bruiserweight, NXT UK belongs to him, and the UK title is, and always will be, his. WALTER calls out Dunne and tells him he can easily put him through the table, but he doesn’t need to do it to prove his point. WALTER says Dunne’s time is up and the reign of the Bruiserweight will end in New York. WALTER says the UK title is his and then Dunne holds it in the air and stares WALTER down as the show comes to a close.
