Kevin Owens Dedicates Fastlane Match to Deceased Friend

peaking to WWE Now ahead of today’s Fastlane event, Kevin Owens dedicated his match against Daniel Bryan tonight to his late friend Chris Bryan, who passed away in 2017. AIW’s John Thorne then posted a tweet of the clip of Owens dedicated the match to Chris Bryan. AIW is an indie wrestling promotion based out of Cleveland that Owens frequently worked for before he joined WWE.

AIW’s John Thorne wrote on Kevin Owens, “Kevin has been texting me this stuff all week, wrestling doesn’t deserve a dude as good as he is.” You can check out that Twitter exchange below.

Owens will face Daniel Bryan for the WWE World Championship later tonight at WWE Fastlane 2019. The event is being held at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. It will be broadcast live on WWE Network.
