Ronda Rousey Helps Open New Suicide Prevention Center in Los Angeles
Ronda Rousey is giving back on a topic that is close to her heart, helping to open a suicide prevention center in Los Angeles. TMZ reports that the Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey spoke at the launch event on Thursday, and spoke with them about her partnership with the center.
The center is a branch of the Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services and opens fully on February 22nd. The new center will add individual and family therapy to the Center’s available services. Rousey, whose father and grandfather were victims of suicide, has worked with Dide Hirsch for many years and won their Erasing the Stigma Leadership Award back in 2014.
