Kris Wolf Announces Retirement

Feb 5, 2019 - by Steve Gerweck

PWInsider reports that Kris Wolf announced that she will retire at the age of 34 and that this will be her last wrestling tour of America. She is a former STARDOM High Speed champion and former AWS Women’s Champion. She has been suffering from symptoms related to concussions she had through her career and doesn’t want to risk any more brain injuries. She also got married several days ago. Wolfe said it’s possible she will have a retirement show with a promotion in the UK.

She is still set to appear for Bar Wrestling this month in their Trios tag team tournament (with Taya Valkyrie and PJ Black), as well as the RISE and SHIMMER weekend on 3/29, 3/30, and 3/31. On the RISE show, it will be Team Kris Wolf vs. Team Su Yung in an 8-man tag match. Wolfe was trained by Fuka Kakimoto, Io Shirai, and Nanae Takahashi. She debuted in STARDOM in 2014 but hasn’t been with them since early last year.
