Speculation on Brock Lesnar’s WWE future

Jan 31, 2019 - by Steve Gerweck

Brock Lesnar is scheduled to work WrestleMania 35 and the Saudi Arabia event in May but his future beyond that with WWE may be up in the air. During the lastest edition of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer made it point to address that Paul Heyman is now talking to THREE different companies about acquiring Lesnar’s services because All Elite Wrestling is now officially a factor!

Meltzer: “If he (Brock) wanted to fight, he’d be fighting right now. You know he got a big offer from Vince. Hes going to do WrestleMania. I fully believe hes gonna do the Saudi show in May and then you know if the contracts… a three-way dance this time. Paul E is negotiating the biggest three-way dance of his life. AEW, WWE, and UFC all for the same guy. That’s an interesting game, isn’t it?”

Brock Lesnar is someone who commands top dollar wherever he goes so it’s going to be interesting to see who’s willing to spend more to acquire Lesnar’s services. The possibility of Brock returning to UFC was probably what made WWE spend more money on Brock to make him stay post-Crown Jewel. However, it should be worth nothing that The Khan family, who are in charge of AEW, are worth much more than The McMahon family so you never know how much they’d be willing to spend for Brock.

Paul Heyman certainly has a huge task ahead of him this year. Where does Brock Lesnar end up after WM35? Only time will tell.
