WWE Files Trademark for “Worlds Collide”

Jan 9, 2019 - by James Walsh

PWInsider reports that WWE has filed a trademark for “Worlds Collide,” listing the term as “Entertainment services, namely, a show about professional wrestling.”

Some suspect it is a new show, PPV title, or even a cross over event being planned. It should be noted that “When Worlds Collide” was a WCW pay per view in which WCW presented a mostly AAA card with some WCW wrestlers appearing. It was a launching pad for Luchadors and what became the Cruiserweight Division. Many, including Rey Mysterio Jr and Eddie Guerrero, looked on that event fondly for their overall exposure in the US.
