Becky Lynch cleared to compete after concussion

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that Becky Lynch has been cleared to compete and will be ready to take bumps during the TLC match even though she just recovered from a concussion.

The Smackdown Women’s champion missed a few weeks of action and most importantly a high-profile match against Ronda Rousey at the Survivor Series after she got knocked out by Nia Jax on Raw. Jax broke Lynch’s nose and the punch to the face also resulted in a concussion.

Lynch, however, managed to pass the IMPACT concussion test that WWE administers to all its Superstars who are diagnosed with a concussion. With the addition of Asuka, it might be a bit easier to protect Lynch in the match both in terms of high-risk moves and even who takes the fall at the end of the match and if WWE plans to take the title away from her, she doesn’t have to be pinned to lose the title.

Alexa Bliss, who has failed multiple IMPACT concussion tests, remains not cleared to compete.
