– Amanpreet Singh, the man formerly known as Mahabali Shera in Impact Wrestling, has signed a developmental deal with WWE and has started training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The 6’2″, 240lbs wrestler first appeared for TNA in 2011 where he wrestled in the company’s first project in India, Ring Ka King. It was only three years later in 2014 that he signed a deal with TNA, debuting in November on an episode of Impact Wrestling. He was pushed as the first Indian star to have joined the promotion although he did not achieve much success. He left Impact Wrestling towards the end of 2017 and now finds himself back in Orlando to train with future WWE Superstars at the Performance Center. “I came to the U.S. with the dream that someday, I am going to make my country proud,” said Singh. “I would consider myself fortunate if I am able to become a positive role model for the youngsters of my country and impact lives. I don’t think I can find a better platform than WWE to empower myself to empower others, especially those back at home.”
