WWE NXT Coverage – 11/29/17: Street Profits vs. Moss/Sabbatelli; Sane vs. Royce; British Strong Style Main Event

We see the NXT opening video and then go into the Aztec Theatre in San Antonio, Texas. We see that Moustache Mountain (Trent Seven and Tyler Bate) will take on Mark Andrews and Pete Dunne, as well as Kairi Sane and Peyton Royce going one-on-one later tonight.

Match #1: Tag Team Match – The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) vs. Riddick Moss and Tino Sabbatelli
Moss and Dawkins tie up and Dawkins backs Moss into the corner. Moss slaps Dawkin across the face and ducks out of the ring. Moss gets back in and takes Dawkins down to the mat, but Dawkins comes back and takes Moss down as well. Dawkins sends Moss off the ropes, but Moss takes him down with a shoulder tackle. Dawkins comes back with a scoop slam and tags in Ford. Dawkins flips Ford down onto Moss and Ford goes for the cover, but Moss kicks out at two. Ford applies a side-headlock, but Moss backs him into the ropes and tags in Sabbatelli. Sabbatelli takes down Ford and gloats a bit, which allows Ford to come back with a dropkick. Dawkins gets into the ring and sends Moss to the floor as well as we head to a break.
Back from the break, Ford drops Moss with a running kick but Sabbatelli drops Ford with a forearm shot. Sabbatelli beats Ford down to the mat and mouths at Dawkins. Sabbatelli tags Moss in, who keeps control and slams Ford down to the mat. Moss mocks Ford’s dancing and then delivers a forearm to keep him grounded. Ford comes back with a few chops, but Moss drops him with a back elbow. Moss goes for the cover, but Ford kicks out at two. Moss delivers a few right hands down on the mat and then applies a rear chin-lock. Ford fights to his feet, but Moss sends him to the corner. Moss charges, but Ford moves and tags in Dawkins as Sabbatelli tag in as well. Dawkins drops Sabbatelli with a dropkick and then keeps Moss down as well. Dawkins delivers splashes to both Moss and Sabbatelli in the corners and then slams Sabbatelli down to the mat. Dawkins goes for the cover, but Moss breaks it up.
Dawkins sends Moss to the floor and rolls up Sababtelli for two. Moss comes back an kicks Dawkins in the face and Sabbatelli goes for the cover, but the referee sees Moss helping with the pin. Ford takes Moss out and Dawkisn tags Ford. Dawkins drops Sabbatelli with the pop-up spine-buster and then Ford connects with the top rope splash and gets the pin fall.
Winners: The Street Profits.

We see exclusive footage from last week of Trent Seven and Tyler Bate confronting Pete Dunne after his match against Johnny Gargano last week. We then see Seven and Bate backstage earlier today. Seven says it was a few weeks ago when Dunne had the chance to save Wolfgang from the Undisputed ERA, but he chose not to do anything about it and it didn’t sit well with them. Bate says they will do something about it tonight.

We then see an interview with Andrews. He says he and Dunne go a long way back. He says he is only Dunne’s partner tonight because if they win, he wants to be the number one contender for the WWE United Kingdom Championship.

We see that Kairi Sane and Peyton Royce will go one-on-one after the break.

We see a vignette for Lars Sullivan.

Match #2: Kairi Sane vs. Peyton Royce (w/Billie Kay)
They tie up and Royce connects with a forearm shot and then beats Sane down to the mat. Royce flips Sane down to the mat, but Sane comes back and connects with a right hand. Sane takes Royce down with a head-scissors take over and then delivers a dropkick. Sane goes for the cover, but Royce kicks out at two. Kay tries to get involved and distracts Sane. Royce takes Sane down with the spinning heel kick and goes for the cover, but Sane kicks out at two. Royce kicks Sane down to the mat again and goes for the fisherman’s suplex. Sane counters with a roll up and goes for the cover, but Royce kicks out at two. Royce drops Sane with a clothesline as we head to a break.
Back from the break and Royce is still in control with a rear chin-lock. Sane fights to her feet and rolls Royce up, but Royce kick out at two. Royce comes back and sends Sane to the corner. Royce charges, but Sane moves and catches Royce with a right hand to the midsection. Sane delivers a spear out of the corner and then sends Royce to the corner. Sane delivers the sliding forearm and climbs up top. She dives, but Royce moves and kicks Sane down to the mat. Royce goes for the cover, but Sane kicks out at two. Sane comes back and takes Royce’s leg out from under her and kicks her in the back repeatedly. Sane takes Kay out on the floor with a forearm shot and then climbs up top. Sane delivers the In-Sane Elbow and gets the pin fall.
Winner: Kairi Sane.

We take a look back at the match between Ruby Riot and Sonya Deville from last week’s show, which was won by Riot. We then say that they will meet again on next week’s show in a No Holds Barred Match.

We see that Moustache Mountain vs. Pete Dunne and Mark Andrews will take place after the break.

We take a look back at NXT TakeOver: WarGames when Andrade “Cien” Almas defeated Drew McIntyre to win the NXT Championship. We then see footage of McIntyre getting looked at by the medical staff and then it is confirmed that McIntyre will be out of action until April with a torn biceps.

We see that Zelina Vega will hold Almas’ NXT Championship Celebration on next week’s show.

Match #3: Moustache Mountain (Trent Seven and Tyler Bate) vs. Mark Andrews and Pete Dunne
Bate and Dunne start the match with a lock up. Dunne takes Bate down with a front face-lock hold, but Bate counters with a quick roll-up for a one count. Both men nip up and get face-to-face. Dunne backs away and goes for a tag to Andrews, but turns it around and clocks Bate with a forearm shot. Dunne then tags in Andrews, who locks in a neck vice on Bate. Bate gets free and drops Andrews with a dropkick. Bate delivers an uppercut and tags in Seven. Seven drops Andrews with a fireman’s carry slam and Bate delivers a senton bomb. Seven goes for the cover, but Andrews kicks out at two. Seven sends Andrews to the corner, but Andrews goes over Seven and drops him with a dropkick. Andrews goes for the cover, but Seven kicks out at two.
Andrews applies an arm-bar submission and Dunne tags back in. Dunne joint manipulates Seven’s fingers and wrists, but Seven gets free and delivers a series of chops. Seven drops Dunne with a DDT and goes for the cover, but Dunne kicks out at two. Dunne comes back with a back elbow and tags in Andrews, but the referee didn’t see it. Dunne drops Seven with a forearm shot as we head to a break.
We’re back and Dunne is still in control of Seven. Andrews tags in and takes Seven down and delivers a short elbow drop. Andrews goes for the cover, but Seven kicks out at two. Andrews applies a modified arm-bar down on the mat, but Seven fights to his feet.
Dunne grabs Seven’s hair, but Seven clocks him with a right hand. Seven grabs Andrews, but Dunne tags in and delivers a back-stabber to Seven. Dunne goes for the cover, but Seven kicks out at two. Dunne stomps away on Seven and then kicks him in the face a few times.
Dunne drops double knees to Seven’s back and Andrews tags back in. Andrews wrenches Seven’s arm and Dunne tags himself back in and Andrews is not happy about it. Dunne kicks Seven in the face and stares down Andrews.
Seven comes back with the Seven-Star Lariat and tags in Bate.Bate catches Dunne with a diving uppercut and then delivers another uppercut in the corner. Bate suplexes Dunne down to the mat and delivers a standing shooting star press. Bate goes for the cover, but Dunne kicks out at two.
Bate goes for the Tyler Driver 97, but Dunne gets free and tags in Andrews. Andrews takes Bate down with a double stomp and delivers the standing corkscrew splash. Andrews goes for the cover, but Bate kicks out at two. Andrews takes Bate to the corner, but Dunne tags in again. Andrews delivers a Frankensteiner to Bate and Dunne catches Bate into a sit-out power bomb. Dunne goes for the cover, but Bate kicks out at two. Bate comes back with a left hand that sends Dunne down to the mat. Seven tags in and takes Dunne down with a suplex. Bate tags right back in and goes for a jack-knife cover on Dunne, but Andrews breaks it up. Dunne makes Seven hit Bate in the face, but Bate catches Dunne with a right hand. Bate suplexes Dunne, but Andrews tags in. Andrews delivers a moonsault from the top and goes for the cover, but Bate kicks out at two.
Andrews goes up top again, but Bate moves. Bate delivers the airplane spin, but Dunne tags in. Dunne rolls Bate up, but Bate kicks out at two. Dunne clocks Bate with a right hand, but Bate comes back with a leaping lariat. Bate delivers the Tyler Driver 97 and gets the pin fall.
Winners: Moustache Mountain
After the match, Andrews checks on Dunne, but Dunne attacks him from behind. Dunne delivers the Bitter End for good measure to leave Andrews lying.
