WrestleMania 33 Kickoff Show

Renee Young, Jerry Lawler, Shawn Michaels, and Booker T welcome us to the WrestleMania 33 Kickoff Show. Michaels says it feels good to be back and Booker says he is excited for everyone who have worked the last year to get to this point. We see that Charly Caruso and Maria Menounos will host the Social Media Lounge later on tonight, and their guest will be Paul Heyman. They then toss it to Sam Roberts, who is among the WWE Universe. We then take a look at the video hype package for the match between Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton.

Michaels says there has been a legitimate darkness to Orton and he almost wants to lean his way, but Wyatt is the perfect guy to counter Orton’s darkness. Booker says we saw Orton work his way into the Wyatt Family and break it apart, but this is the era of Bray Wyatt. Lawler says we all saw how devious Wyatt can be and he will not be satisfied leaving empty handed. Michaels and Booker pick Orton to win, while Lawler picks Wyatt. The panel’s talk switches to the match between Shane McMahon and AJ Styles. Lawler says the pressure is on Shane to do something to shock the world tonight, but Styles is the best in the world. Lawler says the pressure will be too much for Shane to overcome. Booker says Styles has proved himself since coming to the WWE and you have to give him his props. Michaels says Shane can try his best, but it won’t be good enough. Booker, Lawler, and Michaels all pick Styles to win. We then take a look at the video hype package for the match between Seth Rollins and Triple H.

Michaels says if Rollins doesn’t win tonight, he is done. Booker says the only thing they need a referee for tonight is to count the 1-2-3, because there are no rules and Triple H is a master of no rules. Michaels, Lawler, and Booker all pick Triple H to win.

We join Peter Rosenberg on the entrance ramp, which he informs us is 80 yards long, making it the longest entrance ramp in WrestleMania history. The panel then brings up the feud between Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho. Booker says this match is definitely about the United States Championship because he knows the life of a champion. He says when friends or former friends fight, it’s always some of the best fights you’ll see. Lawler says friendships don’t last long and this one is definitely over. Michaels says the title is a big deal, but this is personal. Booker picks Owens to win, Lawler picks Jericho, and Michaels picks Jericho as well.

Lita has replaced Jerry Lawler on the panel to discuss both of the Women’s Championship matches. Lita says she is proud of what the women have accomplished over the last year, and it started last year with Charlotte, Sasha Banks, and Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 32. Lita praises the Smackdown women and says Alexa Bliss has what it takes to get it done. Lita says Nia Jax is the newcomer on the Raw side and everyone is overlooking her and that will be their downfall. Booker says the odds are stacked against Alexa Bliss, but she can definitely get the job done. Michaels says Lita what a part of the foundation a long time ago, but not it’s a special feeling in women’s wrestling. He says he is most intrigued by Nia Jax. Lita picks Bayley to retain her title and Booker picks Nia Jax. Booker picks Alexa Bliss to retain her title, Lita picks Naomi in her hometown, and Michaels picks Alexa. The talk then turns to the match between John Cena and Nikki Bella and The Miz and Maryse. Booker says The Miz has been doing his thing for years, but Maryse by his side has made The Miz have the best year of his career and he says they will get it done tonight. Lita agrees with Booker and Michaels goes with Cena and Nikki to get the win.


WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match: Neville (c) vs. Austin Aries
They tie up and Aries sends Neville off the ropes. Neville drops Aries with a shoulder tackle. They tie up again and Neville applies a wrist-lock. Aries gets free and applies a side headlock. Neville backs Aries into the ropes and then applies a headlock of his own. Aries sends Neville off the ropes and takes him down with an arm-drag. Aries applies an arm-bar on the mat, but Neville counters with a body scissors submission. Aries flips over and gets a cover on Neville, but Neville kicks out at one. Aries goes for the Last Chancery, but Neville rolls out of the ring. Aries poses on the ropes as Neville gets back on the ring apron. Neville drives his shoulder into Aries and then sends him to the apron. Aries drives his shoulder into Neville and then slaps him on the side of the head. Aries takes Neville down with a dropkick. Aries delivers a back elbow in the corner and then goes to the middle rope. Aries drops an elbow to the back of Neville’s neck and goes for the cover, but Neville kicks out at two. Neville rolls to the floor and Aries goes for a tope suicida, but Neville counters with a kick to the face. Neville goes up top and connects with a missile dropkick. Neville goes for the cover, but Aries kicks out at two as we head to a break.
We’re back and Neville is still in control of the match. Neville goes for an inverted Red Arrow, but Aries moves out of the way. Aries connects with a few chops and then a gut-buster. Aries takes Neville down with a pendulum elbow and then sends Neville out to the floor. Aries goes up top and connects with a clubbing blow to Neville on the floor. Aries connects with the tope suicida that sends Neville into the barricade. He tosses Neville back into the ring and goes for the cover, but Neville kicks out at two. Aries applies a front face-lock and delivers a few knee shots. Neville gets to his feet and backs Aries into the corner. Neville kicks Aries in the face and then puts him on the top rope. Neville connects with a right hand and then climbs as well. Neville goes for a super plex, but Aries shoves him down and delivers a missile dropkick. Aries goes for the cover, but Neville kicks out at two. Aries goes for a vertical suplex, but Neville lands on his feet. Neville counters with a snap German suplex and Aries lands right on his neck. Neville picks Aries up and goes for another suplex, but Aries lands on his feet. Aries goes for the discus five-arm, but Neville kicks him in the face. Neville delivers another suplex and goes for the cover, but Aries kicks out at two. Neville kicks Aries in the head and stomps away on him in the corner. Neville drags Aries to the middle of the ring and goes for the Rings of Saturn submission, but Aries counters with a pin attempt. Neville kicks out at two and Aries connects with the discus five-arm, but Neville rolls to the floor. Aries tosses Neville back into the ring, but Neville counters with a kick to the side of the head. Neville goes up top, but Aries cuts him off. Aries connects with a head-scissors take down and then connects with the 450 splash. Aries goes for the cover, but Neville kicks out at two. Aries grabs Neville and locks in the Last Chancery, but Neville rakes the eyes and takes Aries down again. Neville goes up top and connects with the Red Arrow and gets the pin fall.
Winner and still WWE Cruiserweight Champion: Neville.

The second hour of the WrestleMania Kickoff show kicks off with the next match.


André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal: Mojo Rawley, Apollo Crews, The Big Show, Curt Hawkins, Braun Strowman, Goldust, R-Truth, Primo, Epico, Curtis Axel, Bo Dallas, Kalisto, Simon Gotch, Heath Slater, Konnor, Viktor, Sami Zayn, Killian Dain, Jinder Mahal, Fandango, Mark Henry, Rhyno, Chad Gable, Jason Jordan, Tyler Breeze, Titus O’Neil, Luke Harper, Aiden English, Sin Cara, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Tian Bing.
Strowman eliminates Primo, Kalisto and Simon Gotch immediately. Then he eliminates Slater and Show eliminates one of the Usos. Goldust gets eliminated by Show. Konnor gets eliminated by Show and then Strowman and Show face off. Zayn attacks Storwman and all the Superstars go after Show and Strowman and Show gets eliminated by Strowman. Strowman eliminates Viktor and then he gets tossed by everyone else. The battle continues for a bit and then Ziggler eliminates R-Truth and then Rhyno. American Alpha eliminate English an then Axel and then the other Uso. American Alpha are then eliminated. Bing eliminates Breeze and Fandango. Henry is eliminated next and Ziggler eliminats Bing. Zayn eliminates Epico.

We are down to Harper, Dallas, Zayn, Crews, Dain, Mahal, O’Neil, Ziggler, and Rawley. Rawley eliminates Dallas and then tosses Ziggler around the ring. Crews is eliminated by Dain and Ziggler is eliminated by Rawley. O’Neil eliminates Harper. Zayn eliminates O’Neil and Dain eliminates Zayn. We are down to Rawley, Mahal, and Dain. Rawley clotheslines Mahal, but Mahal tosses him through the ropes. Mahal attacks Rawley on the floor and gets in Rob Gronkowski’s face and tosses a beer at him. Gronkowski hops the barricade, but he gets around them and gets into the ring. Gronkowski shoulder tackles Mahal and Rawley pulls Gronkowski back. Rawley gets Gronkowski out of the ring and eliminates Dain and Mahal attacks Rawley. Rawley connects with a knee and knocks Mahal to the floor.
Winner: Mojo Rawley.
After the match, Rawley celebrates with Gronkowski in the ring.

We head back to Renee, Booker, Lawler, and Michaels and then see Paul Heyman getting ready in the Social Media Lounge. The panel talks about the feud between Goldberg and Brock Lesnar for a bit and then we see Sam Roberts hanging out with the crowd again. Booker says Mojo Rawley lost the baggage known as Zack Ryder and he is now a big star. Lawler says this was Rawley’s defining moment. We join Charly Caruso, Maria Menounos, and Paul Heyman in the Social Media Lounge. Heyman says Lesnar with either pin Goldberg as quickly as possible, or Lesnar will take his time and pick Goldberg apart. Heyman is asked if there are any new clients in his future and he says Charly and Maria can be his new clients. Heyman says there is no way in reality that Lesnar will lose to Goldberg again tonight. We go back to the panel and Booker picks Goldberg to win, Lawler picks Lesnar, and Michaels picks Lesnar as well.

We see that Dean Ambrose vs. Baron Corbin has been moved to the preshow. Lawler says the size of Corbin will be an advantage and Michaels says tonight could be the night for Corbin. Booker says Ambrose is a fighter and he can win any fight at any time. Peter Rosenberg is with the crowd again and he says there is a certain feel in the air for tonight’s show.


WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: Dean Ambrose (c) vs. Baron Corbin

Corbin goes after Ambrose and takes him down to the mat and then tosses him into the corner. Corbin charges, but Ambrose moves. Corbin slides to the floor, but Ambrose connects with a tope suicida. Ambrose slams Corbin again the barricade and then tosses him back into the ring. Ambrose connects with a forearm in the corner, but Corbin comes back and slams Ambrose back-first into the ring post. Corbin kicks Ambrose in the midsection and stomps away on him in the corner. Corbin drives his shoulder into Ambrose’s midsection, but Ambrose battles back. Corbin sends Ambrose to the corner and charges again, but Ambrose counters with a boot to the face. Ambrose rushes Corbin, but Corbin drops him to the mat with a clothesline. Corbin goes for the cover, but Ambrose kicks out at two. Corbin takes Ambrose to the floor and slams him into the barricade. Corbin tosses Ambrose back into the ring and applies a headlock down on the mat. Ambrose gets to his feet and sends Corbin shoulder-first into the ring post. Ambrose goes up top and dives, but Corbin counters him with a shot to the midsection. Corbin goes for the cover, but Ambrose kicks out at two. Corbin sets Ambrose up in the corner and goes for a suplex, but Ambrose blocks it. Ambrose counters with headbutts that send Corbin to the mat. Ambrose jumps off, but Corbin moves. Ambrose goes for Dirty Deeds, but Corbin shoves him away. Corbin charges, but Ambrose pulls the rope down and Corbin goes to the floor. Ambrose goes for a tope suicida, but Corbin clocks him in the face. Corbin charges at Ambrose, but Ambrose moves and Corbin hits the steel steps. Ambrose goes up top and connects with an elbow shot form the top rope.
Back in the ring, Corbin connects with a back elbow, but Ambrose drops him with a neck-breaker. Ambrose goes for the cover, but Corbin kicks out at two. Ambrose delivers a series of right hands in the corner, but Corbin counters with a knee strike. Corbin goes for Deep Six, but Ambrose counters it. Corbin delivers a big boot and then connects with Deep Six. Corbin goes for the cover, but Ambrose kicks out at two. Corbin delivers a series of forearms to Ambrose and slams him down to the mat again. Corbin goes for the cover, but Ambrose kicks out at two. Corbin connects with more right hands and goes for the End of Days, but Ambrose counters and connects with Dirty Deeds and gets the pin fall.
Winner and still WWE Intercontinental Champion: Dean Ambrose.

We rejoin the panel and they plug the WWE Network. They then talk about the match between Roman Reigns and The Undertaker. Michaels says WrestleMania is The Undertaker’s yard and it is a big match tonight. Michaels says going one-on-one with The Undertaker is not a bad place to be and then we see the video hype package for the match.

WrestleMania 33

Tinashe opens WrestleMania 33 with “American the Beautiful” and then we see the opening video hype package for tonight’s show.

The New Day’s music hits and the WrestleMania hosts make their way to the ring. Woods says they are excited to be here because WWE was looking at a lot of people to host WrestleMania. Big E says they have been given the keys to pull the level for the Ultimate Thrill Ride because New Day rocks.

We see the video hype package for the match between Shane McMahon and AJ Styles.


Shane McMahon vs. AJ Styles
McMahon applies a wrist-lock on Styles and then switches to a side headlock. Styles reverses into his own headlock and then drops McMahon with a shoulder tackle. Styles runs the ropes and takes McMahon down with a snapmare after McMahon leapfrogged over Styles. They tie up and McMahon drops Styles to the mat and takes him down with a couple arm drags. McMahon takes Styles down with a belly-to-back suplex. McMahon goes for a quick cover, but Styles rolls out of the ring. McMahon mocks Styles and Styles gets back into the ring. Styles clubs McMahon with a right hand, but McMahon comes back with rights and lefts which back Styles into the corner. McMahon connects with a back elbow in the corner, but Styles comes back with a throat punch to McMahon. Styles tosses McMahon to the floor and then dropkicks McMahon into and over the announce table. Styles tosses McMahon back into the ring and clubs him with a right hand. Styles goes for the cover, but McMahon kicks out at two. Styles and McMahon exchange forearm shots and McMahon kicks Styles into the corner. Styles sets up for the Phenomenal Forearm, but McMahon knocks him down to the ring. McMahon delivers some left hands and then drops him with a right hand. McMahon takes Styles down with a spinning back elbow and then connects with a suplex. McMahon takes Styles down with an Angle Slam and goes for the cover, but Styles kicks out at two. Styles comes back and kicks McMahon in the knee and then delivers a neck-breaker. Styles sets up for the Styles Clash, but McMahon backs him into the corner. Styles counters right back and locks in the Calf Crusher. McMahon counters and locks in a rear naked choke and then turns it into an arm-bar. Styles is able to get free of the hold and both men are down on the mat after a double clothesline. Styles goes to the apron and drapes McMahon over the top rope. Styles goes for the 450 Splash, but McMahon counters and locks Styles in a triangle submission. Styles counters and drops McMahon with a Styles Clash. Styles goes for the cover, but McMahon kicks out at two. Styles and McMahon exchange right hands and McMahon kicks Styles in the corner. McMahon drives his knee into Styles and the referee gets knocked down as well. Styles connects with the Pele Kick. Styles digs under the ring and pulls out a couple trash cans. Styles places Shane in the corner and shoves a trash can onto him. Styles gets on the top rope and goes for Coast-to-Coast, but McMahon counters and hits him with the trash can. McMahon puts Styles in the corner and places the other trash can onto him. McMahon goes up top and connects with Coast-to-Coast to Styles. McMahon goes for the cover, but Styles kicks out at two. McMahon goes to the outside and takes apart the Smackdown Live announce table. He drags Styles to the outside and places him on the table. McMahon climbs up top and dives, but Styles moves and McMahon crashes through the table. Styles grabs McMahon and tosses him back into the ring. Styles goes for the Phenomenal Forearm, but McMahon counters and drops Styles with a DDT. McMahon goes up top and goes for a Shooting Star Press, but Styles moves out of the way and McMahon crashes into the mat. Styles pulls himself to his feet and sets up for the Phenomenal Forearm again, and connects with it this time and gets the pin fall.
Winner: AJ Styles.

We see the video hype package for the match between Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens.


WWE United States Championship Match: Chris Jericho (c) vs. Kevin Owens
Jericho takes Owens down immediately and goes for the Walls of Jericho, but Owens gets to the ropes. Jericho takes Owens to the corner and delivers a few midsection shots. Jericho tosses Owens across the ring and charges, but Owens counters with a boot to the face. Owens cannonballs Jericho in the corner and then delivers another cannonball on the apron. Owens tosses Jericho back into the ring and kicks him in the back a few times. Owens applies a headlock down on the mat and then kicks Jericho in the chest. Owens connects with a running senton and goes for the cover, but Jericho kicks out at two. Owens comes off the ropes, but Jericho counters with a dropkick. Owens rolls to the outside and Jericho goes out after him. Owens goes for the power bomb on the apron, but Jericho counters with a back-body drop. Jericho rolls Owens back into the ring and connects with an elbow drop. Jericho goes for the cover, but Owens kicks out at two. Jericho goes for the Codebreaker, but Owens counters and connects with a sit-out slam. Owens goes for the cover, but Jericho kicks out at two. Owens is cut over his right eye and goes up top, but Jericho counters with an enzuiguri. Jericho goes for the cover, but Owens kicks out at two. Jericho connects with a knee strike and then kicks Owens in the midsection. Jericho takes Owens down with a bulldog and then goes for the Lionsault. Owens moves and kicks Jericho in the face. Owens goes for the cover, but Jericho kicks out at two. Owens goes up top and goes for the frogsplash, but Jericho gets his knees up. Jericho goes for the Lionsault again, but Owens gets his knees up. Owens goes up top and goes for the swanton bomb, but Jericho gets his knees up again.
Jericho drops Owens and goes or the Walls of Jericho, but Owens counters and flips Jericho across the ring. Owens grabs Jericho and drops him with a neck-breaker slam and goes for the cover, but Jericho kicks out at two. Owens goes for the pop-up powerbomb, but Jericho lands on his feet and takes Owens down. Jericho finally connects with the Lionsault and goes for the cover, but Owens kicks out at two. Jericho catches Owens with an uppercut and comes out of the corner, but Owens catches Jericho and applies the Walls of Jericho to Jericho. Jericho counters and lands on the second rope, but Owens kicks him in the face. Owens goes for the cannonball, but Jericho catches him and locks in the Walls of Jericho on Owens. Owens makes it to the rope to break the hold. Owens comes back and hits the Pop-up Powerbomb and goes for the cover, but Jericho kicks out at two. Owens grabs Jericho and slaps him across the face a few times. Owens goes for the Pop-up Powerbomb, but Jericho counters with a Codebreaker. Jericho goes for the cover, but Owens gets one fingertip on the ropes to break the hold. Owens catches Jericho with a kick to the knee and powerbombs him on the apron. Owens tosses Jericho back into the ring and gets the pin fall.
Winner and new WWE United States Champion: Kevin Owens.

We see the first vignette for WWE Payback, which will be a Raw-exclusive event and will take place on April 30th. We then see the video hype package for the match between Bayley, Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, and Nia Jax.


WWE Raw Women’s Championship Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match: Bayley (c) vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax
Nia backs Charlotte into the corner and fights off Bayley and Sasha as well. Nia slams Charlotte down to the mat and then triple clotheslines Charlotte, Sasha, and Bayley. Nia tosses Bayley and Sasha in the corner and smashes them. Nia tosses Sasha to the floor and sit down onto Bayley from the middle rope. Charlotte attacks Nia from behind and Bayley rolls to the floor. Charlotte chops Nia repeatedly, but Nia whips Charlotte into the corner. Nia grabs Charlotte and tosses her into Sasha and Bayley on the floor. Bayley gets to her feet, as do Sasha and Charlotte and they all get on the apron. Sasha grabs Nia’s leg and Charlotte takes out Nia’s other leg. Nia powers back, but Charlotte kicks Nia in the face and Sasha and Bayley suplex her. Charlotte goes for the cover, but Nia kicks out at two. Nia sends Bayley back to the floor and kicks Sasha away. Nia shoves Charlotte into the corner and splashes her there. Nia gets on the second rope and Charlotte grabs Nia. They triple power bomb Nia down to the mat and all three pin Nia.
Nia Jax has been eliminated.
Charlotte tries to high five Sasha, but Sasha and Bayley go after her. Charlotte rolls to the floor and Bayley and Sasha tie up in the ring. Charlotte pulls Bayley to the floor and drives her knee into Bayley. Bayley counters with a forearm, but Sasha dives over the top rope and takes out Bayley. Charlotte climbs to the top rope and connects with a corkscrew moonsault and takes out Bayley and Sasha. Charlotte tosses Sasha back into the ring and goes for Natural Selection, but Sasha counters into the Bank Statement. Charlotte gets free and sends Sasha to the corner and then connects with a back-breaker. Charlotte goes for the cover, but Sasha kicks out at two. Charlotte tries to remove one of the turnbuckles, but Charlotte cuts her off and rolls her up, but Charlotte kicks out at two. Sasha takes Charlotte down with a hurricanrana and tosses her into the corner. Sasha connects with the running knee and then slams Charlotte’s face into the top turnbuckle. Sasha takes Charlotte down with double knees from the top rope. Sasha goes for the cover, but Charlotte kicks out at two. Sasha locks in the Bank Statement, but Charlotte gets to her feet and breaks the hold. Sasha goes for a roll-up, but Charlotte kicks out and sends Sasha face-first into the exposed turnbuckle and gets the pin fall.
Sasha Banks has been eliminated.
Bayley gets back into the ring, but Charlotte takes her knee out. Charlotte climbs to the top and goes for the moonsault, but Bayley moves out of the way and Charlotte crashes to the mat. Bayley goes for the cover, but Charlotte kicks out at two. Bayley climbs to the top and dives onto Charlotte, but Charlotte catches her and locks in the Figure Eight submission. Bayley makes it to the ropes and Charlotte uses all of the count to keep the hold locked in. Charlotte drops down onto Bayley’s knee and then hangs her upside down in the corner. Charlotte stomps away on Bayley’s knee from the top rope, but Bayley fights back. Bayley tosses Charlotte down to the mat with a back body drop. Bayley gets to her feet on the top and delivers the Macho Man elbow and gets the pin fall.
Winner and still WWE Raw Women’s Champion: Bayley.

We take a look back at the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony from this past Friday night. We then welcome the 2017 Hall of Fame class to the stage.

We see Seth Rollins getting taped up for his match backstage.


WWE Raw Tag Team Championship Fatal Four-Way Ladder Match: Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson (c) vs. Enzo Amore and Big Cass vs. Cesaro and Sheamus vs. The Hardy Boyz
Before the match, The New Day comes to the stage and says that they have just received word that this match is now a Fatal Four-Way and The Hardy Boyz’ music hits and Matt and Jeff make their way to the ring.

The Hardyz clear the ring and connects with Poetry in Motion. The Hardyz take Enzo down and then drop Cesaro and Sheamus with Whisper in the Wind. Matt grabs a ladder and places it in the ring. He hits Sheamus with it, and then Cass. Matt drops Cesaro with a ladder and Jeff brings another ladder into the ring. Jeff sets the ladder up and Gallows gets into the ring and shoves the ladder over. Anderson and Gallows drop Matt with a ladder and then do the same to Jeff. Sheamus and Cesaro get back into the ring. Sheamus drops Anderson with a senton and Cesaro stomps down onto him. Enzo and Cass get into the ring and send Cesaro to the outside. Cass drops Matt and Jeff with a big boot. Enzo and Cass set the ladder up in the corner. Matt and Jeff put two ladders on the barricade and ring apron. Gallows and Cass smash the Hardyz between the ladders and then Cass throws Enzo onto Anderson. Sheamus gets the Ten Beats of the Bowry on Gallows as Cesaro swings Anderson. Cesaro gets 28 swings and Sheamus gets 28 Beats of the Bowry. Cesaro connects with the Swiss-1-9 and tells Sheamus to grab a laader. Big Cass slams into Cesaro and then tosses Enzo out onto Cesaro and Matt. Jeff gets into the ring and kicks Cass to the floor. Sheamus delivers a Brogue Kick to Jeff and he falls onto everyone else. Sheamus tosses a ladder into the ring. Sheamus climbs, but Gallows cuts him off. Enzo pushes the ladder over and knocks both guys into the top rope. Enzo sets the ladder up and Cass lifts Enzo up to the belts, but Gallows and Sheamus cut them off. Gallows slams Cass into the ladder in the corner and then conencts with a big kick. Sheamus delivers a Brogue Kick to Cass and then Sheamus and Gallows fall to the floor. Enzo reaches for the belts again, but Anderson cuts him off. Enzo and Anderson battle on the top of the ladder and Cesaro gets back into the ring. Anderson tosses Enzo off the ladder and Cesaro catches him with an uppercut. Cesaro grabs Anderson and Sheamus does as well, but Gallows saves Anderson. The Club drops Cesaro with a Magic Killer and Sheamus is placed on the ladder on the outside. Cesaro is placed on the other one. Anderson and Matt climb the ladder and battle on the top. Matt takes Anderson down with a Twist of Fate from the top of the ladder. Jeff climbs a taller ladder and crashes through Sheamus and Cesaro and the ladders that they are on, on the outside. Matt is in the ring alone and grabs the title belts.

Mixed Tag Team Match: John Cena and Nikki Bella vs. The Miz and Maryse
Jerry Lawler has replaced David Otunga on commentary for this match. Al Roker has replaced Greg Hamilton as the special guest ring announcer for this match.

Maryse and Nikki start the match. Maryse backs into the corner and tags in Miz, so Cena enters as well. Miz leaves the ring and Cena chases him around. Miz stomps away on Cena back in the ring and then decks him with a left hand. Miz chokes Cena over the top rope and Maryse slaps Cena across the face. Miz decks Cena with a right hand and Cena falls in the corner. Miz connects with another left hand in the corner Miz clotheslines Cena in the corner and tosses Cena down to the mat. Miz climbs up top and clotheslines Cena from the top rope. Miz goes for the cover, but Cena kicks out at two. Miz kicks Cena in the face a few times. Miz takes Cena to the corner and then backs away. Miz charges, but Cena moves and Miz goes knee-first into the turnbuckles. Maryse pulls Nikki off the ring apron and down to the floor. Miz drops Cena with a neck-breaker and goes for the cover, but Cena kicks out at two. Cena comes back with an AA attempt, but Miz counters and drops Cena with a DDT. Miz goes for the cover, but Cena kicks out at two. Miz connects with Daniel Bryan’s kicks to Cena. Miz tells Nikki that she can’t see him and she slaps him across the face and Cena sends Miz to the floor. Nikki goes after Miz and Maryse and then tosses Maryse back into the ring. Nikki drops Maryse with a right hand and Cena drops Miz with a side slam. Nikki and Cena connect with a five-knuckle shuffle and hit the AA and the Rack Attack and get the pin fall.
Winners: John Cena and Nikki Bella.
After the match, Cena says that Nikki has wanted a WrestleMania moment. He says the time is now right and he asks Nikki to marry him. She starts crying and says yes and kisses him.

We see the video hype package for the match between Seth Rollins and Triple H.


Unsanctioned Match: Seth Rollins vs. Triple H (w/Stephanie McMahon)
Rollins and Triple H brawl in the ring and then Rollins tosses Triple H to the outside. They battle over the barricade and then Rollins back body drops Triple H back to the ringside area. Rollins drops Triple H with a leaping clothesline from the top of the barricade. Triple H goes back into the ring and Rollins springboards from the top rope, but Triple H cuts him off. Rollins keeps control and takes Triple H down with an enzuiguri. Triple H rolls to the outside and Rollins takes him out with a couple tope suicidas. Rollins slams Triple H’s face into the announce table. Rollins takes apart one of the announce tables and slams Triple H into it again. Rollins sets up for a Pedigree, but Triple H counters and DDT’s Rollins on the announce table. Triple H grabs a chair and smashes it against Rollins’ injured knee. Triple H smashes Rollins’ knee with the chair again and then drops his own knee onto Rollins’ knee on the outside. Triple H tosses Rollins back into the ring and takes out Rollins’ knee. Triple H drops elbows on the knee and then stretches it out down on the mat. Triple H takes Rollins to the corner and delivers a few chops and then drapes Rollins’ knee over the middle rope. Triple H kicks Rollins’ knee a few times, but Rollins comes back and slams Triple H face-first into the turnbuckle. Rollins goes up top, but Triple H cuts him off. Triple H goes up as well, but Rollins gets control with a headbutt. Rollins goes for a sunset flip, but his knee gives out and he collapses to the mat. Triple H picks Rollins up and delivers a series of right hands. Rollins counters and goes for the corner power bomb, but his knee gives out again. Triple H goes for the Pedigree, but Rollins counters and goes for a Pedigree of his own. Triple H blocks it, but Rollins slams Triple H into the corner with the corner power bomb.
Rollins delivers a forearm in the corner and then sends Triple H out to the floor. Rollins climbs to the top and takes Triple H out with a cross-body. Rollins grabs a couple chairs from under the ring and then grabs a table as well. Rollins sets the table up on the outside and then climbs up. He hits the frogsplash on Triple H and goes for the cover, but Triple H kicks out at two. Rollins grabs a chair, but Triple H counters with a spine-buster. Triple H goes for the cover, but Rollins kicks out at two. Triple H wraps the chair around Rollins’ knee and stomps down onto it a couple times. Triple H goes up top, but Rollins gets to his feet and smacks Triple H with the chair. Rollins grabs Triple H and delivers a superplex and then delivers the Falcon Arrow. Rollins goes for the cover, but Triple H kicks out at two. Rollins climbs up to the top, but Stephanie pulls him down and his knee wraps around the top rope. Triple H locks in a knee-bar submission in the middle of the ring, but Rollins counters with right hands. Rollins locks in a modified cross-face submission, but Triple H kicks Rollins’ knee to break the hold. Rollins rolls out to the floor, but Triple H nails him with a chair. Triple H locks in the knee-bar on the floor now. Rollins reaches for weapons and tosses a couple chairs and a sledgehammer from under the ring. Triple H lets go of the hold and grabs the sledgehammer. Rollins rolls back into the ring as Triple H stalks him with the sledgehammer. Rollins cuts Triple H off and decks him with right hands. Rollins and Triple H exchange rights and then Rollins connects with a couple kicks. Triple H comes right back with a clothesline and both men are down in the ring.
Triple H grabs the sledgehammer again, but Rollins counters with an enzuiguri. Rollins grabs the sledgehammer, but Stephanie grabs it and Triple H hits the Pedigree. Triple H goes for the cover, but Rollins kicks out at two. Triple H takes Rollins to the corner, but Rollins counters with a back drop. Rollins splashes down onto Triple H and goes for the cover, but Triple H kicks out at two. Rollins goes for a Pedigree, but Triple H counters and goes for his own. Rollins counters again, but Triple H counters too and flips Rollins over. Triple H goes for it again, but Rollins counters. Rollins goes it again, but Triple H takes out his knee. Stephanie holds Rollins and Triple H charges. Rollins moves and Triple H stops, but then Stephanie gets sent through the table on the outside. Triple H looks at Stephanie and then Rollins plants Triple H with a Pedigree and gets the pin fall.
Winner: Seth Rollins.

Now we get the Pitbull concert.

We see the video hype package for the match between Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton.


WWE Championship Match: Bray Wyatt (c) vs. Randy Orton
Orton takes Wyatt down with a Thesz Press and then a power slam. Orton goes for the RKO, but Wyatt gets free and goes to the outside. Orton goes out after him, but Wyatt comes back with a forearm shot. Wyatt tosses Orton back into the ring and connects with a headbutt that sends Orton down to the mat. The ring has a maggot video played on it while Orton is down in the middle of it and Orton notices and goes to the outside as Wyatt kneels down in the ring. Orton gets back into the ring and Wyatt goes for Sister Abigail, but Orton counters and goes for the RKO. Wyatt counters and takes Orton down in the middle of the ring. Wyatt tosses Orton to the ring apron and clubs him across the back. Wyatt shoves Orton back into the ring and smashes him in the corner. Wyatt tosses Orton across the ring and the effect appears on the ring again. Wyatt stomps on Orton and clubs Orton in the back of the head and goes for the cover, but Orton kicks out at two. Wyatt goes for Sister Abigail again, but Orton shoves him away and rolls to the floor. Wyatt comes off the apron, but Orton counters with a dropkick. Wyatt backs Orton into the ring apron and then delivers Sister Abigail into the barricade. Wyatt goes for a running clothesline on the outside, but Orton ducks under and hits an RKO out of nowhere. Orton tosses Wyatt back into the ring and goes for the cover, but Wyatt kicks out at two.
Orton goes for the Punt, but Wyatt ducks and grabs Orton. Wyatt goes for Sister Abigail, but Orton counters with a back-breaker. Orton grabs Wyatt and delivers the middle rope DDT. Wyatt comes right back and hits Orton with Sister Abigail. Wyatt goes for the cover, but Orton kicks out at two. Wyatt does the crab walk and the ring turns into an image of cockroaches. Orton hits the RKO out of nowhere and gets the pin fall.
Winner and new WWE Champion: Randy Orton.

We see the video hype package for the match between Goldberg and Brock Lesnar.


WWE Universal Championship Match: Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar (w/Paul Heyman)
Lesnar delivers a series of German suplexes to Goldberg, but Goldberg comes right back with a take down. Goldberg spears Lesnar and Lesnar rolls out of the ring. Goldberg spears Lesnar through the barricade on the outside and both men are down on the outside. Goldberg tosses Lesnar back into the ring. Goldberg sets up for the Jackhammer, but Lesnar counters into an F-5. Goldberg counters and spears Lesnar again. Goldberg grabs Lesnar and goes for the Jackhammer and hits it, but Lesnar kicks out at two. Goldberg sets up for another spear, but Lesnar leapfrogs and Goldberg hits the turnbuckle. Lesnar suplexes Goldberg seven more times, taking the total to ten. Lesnar picks Goldberg up and hits the F-5 and gets the pin fall.
Winner and new WWE Universal Champion: Brock Lesnar.


WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship Six-Pack Challenge: Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Becky Lynch vs. Natalya vs. Mickie James vs. Carmella (w/James Ellsworth) vs. Naomi
Carmella goes after Becky and Naomi takes Natalya to the outside with a head scissors take down. Mickie sends Alexa to the outside and we are left with Becky and Mickie in the ring. Becky takes Mickie to the corner and kicks her in the face. Mickie kicks Carmella in the face and James Ellsworth grabs Becky’s feet. Carmella takes Becky down to the mat and goes for the cover, but Alexa breaks it up. Alexa takes Carmella down and then delivers a DDT to Natalya. Alexa goes for the cover, but Natalya kicks out. Becky gets back into the ring and takes down Carmella and Natalya. Becky smacks Natalya with a forearm and then slams her down to the mat. Becky takes Carmella down with a suplex and Ellsworth gets into th ering. Becky takes him down with a suplex and he rolls out of th ering. Mickie coems off the top rope and takes Becky down, but Alexa breaks it up. Natalya gets into the ring and grabs Becky and Naomi kicks Becky in the midsection. Naomi rolls up Natalya and Becky gets German suplexed. Naomi goes for the cover, but Natalya kicks out at two. Carmella gets into the ring, but Natalya slams her onto Naomi and Natalya locks in the Sharpshooter on Carmella and Naomi at the same time, but Mickie breaks it up. Mickie rolls up Natalya, but Becky breaks it up. Becky goes for the cover on Mickie, but Mickie kicks out. Mickie takes Becky out with the Mick-DT, but Alexa breaks it up. Naomi gets into the ring and takes Alexa down and then launches onto everyone on the floor.
Naomi tosses Alexa back into the ring and goes up top, but Alexa cuts her off with a right hand. Naomi rolls up Alexa and applies a submission and Alexa taps out.
Winner and new WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion: Naomi.

We see another vignette for WWE Payback, which is a Raw-only PPV, on April 30th.

The New Day’s music hits and the WrestleMania hosts comes to the stage. They announce the Citrus Bowl attendance record, which sits at 75,245. We then see the video hype package for the match between The Undertaker and Roman Reigns.


No Holds Barred Match: The Undertaker vs. Roman Reigns
Jim Ross has replaced Byron Saxton on commentary for the next match and JBL has replaced Corey Graves.

Taker backs Reigns into the corner with rights and lefts. Taker tosses Reigns to the outside and mouths “My yard” at Reigns. Reigns gets back into the ring, but Taker hits him with a right hand and tosses him to the floor again. Reigns drapes Taker over the top rope and then catches Taker with right hands and then clotheslines Taker to the floor. Taker grabs Reigns and pulls him to the outside. Taker delivers a headbutt and slams Reigns into the steel steps. Taker tosses Reigns back into the ring, but Reigns gains control. He takes Taker down with a Samoan Drop and then kicks him in the midsection. Reigns decks Taker with a right hand and Taker rolls to the floor. Taker comes back with a throat punch and headbutts Reigns. Taker goes for a Tombstone on the floor, but Reigns counters and shoves Taker into the ringpost. Reigns connects with the Drive-By and kicks Taker against the ringpost. Reigns tosses Taker back into the ring and delivers a few body shots in the corner. Reigns punches Taker against the ropes, but Taker comes back with rights of his own. Taker sends Reigns off the ropes, but Reigns catches Taker with a kick. Taker stands up and backs Reigns into the corner. Taker delivers a few headbutts and then clotheslines Reigns in the corner. Taker connects with Snake Eyes and a big boot. Taker connects with a leg drop and goes for the cover, but Reigns kicks out at two. Reigns sets up for the Chokeslam, but Reigns rolls out to the floor. Taker goes out after him. Reigns goes for another Drive-By, but Taker drops him with a big right hand. Taker takes apart one announce table and slams Reigns into another one. Taker delivers another headbutt, but Reigns comes right back and slams Taker into the announce table. Reigns goes for the Superman Punch, but Taker catches him and chokeslams him on the announce table. Taker takes apart another announce table and stands on it. Taker motions that the end is near, but Reigns spears Taker through the Spanish announce table and both men are down on the floor.
Reigns gets back into the ring as the referee checks on Taker on the outside. Reigns trash talks Taker and Taker sits up. Reigns kicks Taker and stomps away on him in the ring. Taker stands up and Reigns clotheslines Taker repeatedly in the corner. Reigns gets to the middle rope and delivers a series of right hands, but Taker counters and delivers the Last Ride. Taker goes for the cover, but Reigns kicks out at two. Taker goes to the outside and grabs a chair. He brings it into the ring and kicks Reigns in the face. Taker drives the chair into Reigns’ back a few times. Taker tosses the chair down and looks to be going for a Tombstone, but Reigns sees it and ducks out of the ring. Taker stalks Reigns, but Reigns catches him with a pair of Superman punches. Reigns goes for it again, but Taker catches him and chokeslams him onto the chair. Taker goes for the cover, but Reigns kicks out at two. Taker grabs Reigns and delivers a Tombstone and goes for the cover, but Reigns kicks out at two. Taker picks Reigns up, but Reigns counters and decks Taker with a Superman Punch. Reigns goes for the cover, but Taker kicks out at two. Reigns sets up for the spear and connects with it. Reigns crawls for the cover, but Taker grabs him and locks in Hell’s Gate. Reigns breaks the hold and both men are down in the ring. Taker grabs the chair, but Reigns steps on it and hits Taker in the back with it. Reigns pummels Taker with the chair. Reigns drops Taker with a spear and goes for the cover, but Taker kicks out at two.
Reigns sets up for another spear and he connects with it. Reigns goes for the cover again, but Taker kicks out at two. Reigns hits another Superman Punch, but Taker sits up…and collapses right back down. Taker crawls around the ring, but Reigns shoves him away. Reigns decks Taker with a right hand and Reigns drops him with yet another spear and gets the pin fall.
Winner: Roman Reigns.
After the match, Reigns leaves the ring and walks up the ramp. He turns around and looks at Taker, who is still down in the ring. The camera pans to Taker, who sits up in the ring. We see highlights of the match and then we see Taker with his jacket and hat back on and standing in the ring. Taker looks around the arena and goes to leave the ring. He stops and takes his gloves off and leaves them in the ring. He takes his jacket off and leave it lying in the ring as well. Finally, Taker removes his hat and lays it in the ring. Taker leaves the ring and finds his wife, Michelle McCool, at ringside and kisses her. Taker walks up the ramp. He stops and turns to face the crowd one last time. He raises his fist in the air and descends under the stage as WrestleMania 33 comes to a close.
