WWE Lead Writer Gone from the Company, Update on AJ Styles’ Status, New PC Recruit (Video)

– WWE World Champion AJ Styles is expected to be off all weekend live events due to the minor ankle injury suffered at TLC, according to F4Wonline.com. AJ is expected to be at SmackDown on Tuesday and while there is no firm date on when he will be back in action, it does not appear it will be too long.
– There was a minor WWE creative shake-up on Friday as managing lead writer Tom Casiello was released, according to F4W. Casiello oversaw both RAW and SmackDown writing teams and had been a key person who was very influential in the push of the female WWE Superstars as of late. He also worked on long-term storyline plans. Casiello was a former soap writer and first worked with WWE from 2006-2012, then returned in December 2016.
