Dwayne Johnson’s Ballers moves out of Florida and relocates

– Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is taking his Ballers from Florida and he’s moving out! Earlier this year there were concerns from the city of Miami that production for season 3 of HBO’s Ballers might move away due to lack of credits from the state. Variety reports that the state of California is giving production $8.3 million in tax credit to start filming there. The 10 episodes of season 3 of Ballers will employ 135 cast, 209 base crew and nearly 6,000 extras. Production is expected to generate $33.5 million to the state. “I’m excited to bring our @BallersHBO to California. It’s smart $business for us, but also generates thousands of jobs for people,” Johnson wrote on his Twitter today.
