Top WWE NXT Superstar not headed to the main roster anytime soon

As first reported by Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer newsletter, don’t expect to see Shinsuke Nakamura on the main roster anytime soon.

The Japanese Superstar is expected to remain with NXT for the near future because the brand needs a headliner for their live events. If this sounds familiar then it’s probably because you remember when the company held off on Bayley’s main roster debut because she was needed for the NXT shows.

Nakamura is believed to be making more than most (if not all) of the talent working in NXT so he is not hurting and fans of the NXT brand are probably happy that he is staying on the brand.
