WWE Studios Casts Six Superstars for The Marine 5

Deadline reports that WWE Studios and Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions are partnering for The Marine 5: Battleground.

The Marine 5 will feature The Miz, Maryse, Heath Slater, Curtis Axel, Bo Dallas and Naomi.

The movie will be directed by James Nunn while Ed McHenry and Rory McHenry wrote the script. Filming starts May 31st in Vancouver.

The Miz will reprise his role as Jake Carter, who finds himself protecting an injured man from a ruthless biker gang and uses his unique skills to stop their rampage.
