Mark Henry Announced for Harley Race Event, Update on WWE Stars Making SI List, More
– WWE will be sending Mark Henry to WWE Hall of Famer Harley Race’s “WLW Night of Champions 2” event on August 27th in Troy, Missouri at the Troy Buchanan High School Gymnasium. Henry is not expected to wrestle a match that night.
– As previously reported, Seth Rollins and WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte were named to Sports Illustrated’s “Fittest 50” list. Rollins ranked #24 on the list for men while Charlotte placed #24 on the list for women. SI wrote the following on the two:
Rollins: Colby Lopez, better known by his ring name Seth Rollins, is one of WWE’s top stars and an all-around freak athlete. He suffered a knee injury in November but has been rehabbing for months to return, using tools such as the SkiErg (a machine that mimics Nordic skiing movements), the rowing machine and, of course, some heavy weights.
Charlotte: Ashley Fliehr, aka Charlotte, has athletic abilities that extend well beyond WWE. She competed internationally in gymnastics for seven years; won three cheerleading national championships, played volleyball and basketball and did swimming, diving, ballet and track and field. Fliehr uses everything from kettlebells to pull-up bars and more to sculpt her physique.
– WWE stock was down 2.29% today, closing at $16.64 per share. Today’s high was $17.13 and the low was $16.60.
– The WWE Shop website has several new muscle tees and tank tops for various Superstars.
