Two More WWE Releases

WWE has released Cameron and Santino Marella from their contracts:

“WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Superstars Santino Marella, Cameron, Hornswoggle, Alex Riley, El Torito and Zeb Colter as of today, Friday, May 6, 2016. WWE wishes them the best in all of their future endeavors.”

This comes just 24 hours removed from Cameron’s Twitter tirade against the WWE Universe for cyber-bullying. She’s been working WWE NXT and at the Performance Center since being taken off TV in 2015.

Santino hasn’t been a regular WWE performer since suffering a neck injury a few years ago, and has only made sporadic appearances at special events and house shows.
