Title Changes at WWE NXT “Takeover: Dallas”, Top Japanese Star In Attendance, Others

– “American Alpha” Chad Gable and Jason Jordan defeated “The Revival” Dash and Dawson to become the new WWE NXT Tag Team Champions at Friday’s “Takeover: Dallas” event.

The title change opened the sold out event from the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Arena. This is the first title reign for both men.

– Asuka defeated Bayley to become the new NXT Women’s Champion at Takeover. The win came as a bit of a shocker as Bayley passed out in the Asuka Lock after a great match. This is Asuka’s first reign with the Women’s Title after debuting last fall.

– In a rather big development, top Japanese star Kota Ibushi was shown at ringside with Funaki. WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross and Michelle Beadle were also at ringside.
