Brock Lesnar In Action Tonight, Injury Notes on Top WWE Divas, SmackDown Doesn’t Rank on Twitter

Jan 8, 2016 - by Marc Middleton

– It’s worth noting that WWE SmackDown, which was the USA Network premiere, did not make Nielsen’s Twitter TV ratings last night, which ranks the top 5 shows. “Guns in America: Obama Town Hall” led the night, followed by American Idol, the Lip Sync Battle premiere, Shades of Blue and Jimmy Fallon. SmackDown usually places in the top 3 or 4.

– There have been rumors of Paige being injured but that could just be social media talk. We reached out for an update on Wednesday but haven’t heard back. PWInsider notes that she was at the WWE Performance Center over the past week. PWInsider also confirmed the previous report about Sasha Banks out of action with an undisclosed injury. They noted that she is banged up and was pulled from the ring after the recent RAW match with Becky Lynch in Brooklyn. There’s no word yet on when she will be back in action.

– Brock Lesnar returns to the ring at tonight’s non-televised WWE live event in Houston, Texas. We will have notes from the show later. Sheamus tweeted the following about their match:

WWE Merging Two Top Stables?, Change for Roman Reigns Due to Terror Attacks?, Backstage Issues with Undertaker and Kane, Top WWE Star Hurt, Huge Tag Team to WWE Soon?, Backstage News on Vince McMahon’s TV Return, WWE Wellness News, Story on Vince and Kevin Owens, Must See New Stephanie & Kaitlyn & Maryse, Lots of New GIFs & Exclusives, More
