Backstage News on James Storm’s WWE NXT Status, TNA Still Trying to Get Storm Re-Signed

Oct 9, 2015 - by Staff

– Former TMZ senior producer Ryan Satin reports that James Storm has not signed a WWE NXT deal yet and TNA is still trying to get him back.

TNA offered Storm a new deal last week, with a big pay increase, but Storm visited the NXT live event in Nashville last Friday and was then invited to “Takeover: Respect” to talk with WWE officials this Wednesday. This led to Storm making his debut at last night’s tapings.

WWE officials are reportedly interested signing Storm to a deal that is similar to Samoa Joe’s current deal but no contract was signed before or after last night’s match. WWE officials did indicate that they may want Storm at the next set of NXT TV tapings later this month.

TNA officials reportedly reached out to Storm on Thursday morning after reports came out that he was at Takeover. TNA reportedly offered Storm even more money to re-sign but Storm is just considering his options right now.
