WWE RAW Report – 8/10/15

– We’re live from Everett, Washington with Michael Cole, Byron Saxton and JBL as the pyro goes off and Cole welcomes us. They hype actor Stephen Amell, Dean Ambrose vs. Luke Harper and more for tonight’s show.

– We go right to the ring and out comes WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins to mostly boos. The boos pick up when he takes the mic.

He welcomes us to Monday Night Rollins and says he’s the man who broke the face that runs the place. “You sold out” chants start up now. Rollins talks about his challenge to John Cena last week for the Winner Takes All match at SummerSlam. Rollins takes a shot at Cena and wonders if he’s at home thinking about reviving his rap career. Rollins says Cena doesn’t have the guts to show up and answer his challenge but he can show up at WWE Tough Enough tomorrow night. Rollins says that’s more proof that Cena isn’t tough enough to hang with him. Rollins acts like the timekeeper is telling him Cena is here and fans pop. However, Cena is just here via satellite. Rollins takes more jabs at Cena and asks if he can hear him. Rollins shows a photo of Cena’s busted face on the screen and mocks him like it’s Cena talking. They even have Cena’s lips moving.

Rollins goes on with his promo about Cena but the music interrupts and out comes Cesaro to a big pop. Cesaro walks to the ring in a suit and knocks Rollins for going on and on with the promo. There are more “Cesaro Section” signs in the crowd tonight. Cesaro challenges Rollins to a WWE World Heavyweight Title match tonight. Rollins says that was last week and asks what Cesaro has done to deserve a shot. The music interrupts and out comes Kevin Owens.

Owens says Cesaro has done nothing to deserve a title shot. Owens brings up idiot fans printing “Cesaro Section” signs and handing them out to other sheep that just want to hold a sign up. Owens says he has beaten Cena, something Rollins and Cesaro can’t say. Owens says he has it on good authority that he’s getting a shot tonight. Rollins calls them both morons and the music interrupts again. Out comes Randy Orton to a big pop. Orton asks if Owens has put on weight lately and he says no. Orton tells Cesaro his glasses are nice. He enters the ring and says if anyone deserves a title shot, it’s him. Rollins says it’s not happening for any of them. Rollins call them all jerk-offs and idiots, telling them to get the hell out of his ring. Triple H’s music hits next and out he comes.

Triple H says it’s interesting that Rollins says he doesn’t care what The Authority thinks. Rollins says that’s not what he meant. Triple H say doctors are telling him that Cena is 50-50 at best for SummerSlam in two weeks. He says this creates turmoil but that’s good for competition. He announces Orton vs. Cesaro vs. Owens tonight in a Triple Threat. The winner will compete in tonight’s main event against Rollins for the title. We go to the announcers to hype tonight’s show.

– We see Team BAD walking backstage as we go back to commercial.

– Back from the break and Team PCB’s Paige, Charlotte and Becky Lynch are on commentary.

Sasha Banks, Naomi and Tamina Snuka vs. Nikki Bella, Brie Bella and Alicia Fox

We go to the ring and out comes Team Bella’s Brie Bella, Alicia Fox and WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella. Tamina Snuka, Naomi and NXT Women’s Champion Sasha Banks are out next.

We get a sidebar video from earlier today with Team BAD talking trash about Team Bella. Alicia starts things off with Naomi and they go at it. Naomi shows off, runs the ropes and Alicia catches her in a backbreaker. Nikki comes in for some double teaming and a 2 count. Nikki keeps Naomi grounded now. They go on and Sasha tags in for some double teaming and a 2 count on Nikki. Sasha takes Nikki to the corner and tags Naomi back in. Nikki turns it around and hits a spinebuster for a 2 count. We go to commercial with Nikki in control.

Back from the break and Sasha is in control of Nikki. Nikki fights to her feet but Sasha drops her for a 2 count. Sasha decks Nikki and knocks Brie off the apron. Sasha with another 2 count on Nikki after Tamina kicks her in the head from the apron. Nikki breaks free from the corner and kicks Sasha away. She finally tags in Brie, who unloads on Sasha. She knocks Tamina off the apron and unloads with kicks on Sasha as fans do the “yes!” chant. Brie decks Naomi on the apron next. Brie dropkicks Sasha and hits a missile dropkick from the corner. Tamina tags in and levels Brie with a clothesline. She knocks Nikki and Alicia off the apron next. Brie ducks a superkick from Tamina and rolls her up for the win.

Winners: Team Bella

– After the mach, Team BAD attacks Team Bella and a brawl breaks out. Team PCB hits the ring and we’ve got Diva chaos. Charlotte ends up spearing Brie to a big pop. Charlotte and Sasha come face to face. Paige jumps in and we’ve got Team BAD and Team PCB facing off in the middle of the ring while Team Bella looks on from the ramp.

– Still to come, Orton vs. Owens vs. Cesaro with a title shot on the line. Back to commercial.

– Back from the break and we see actor Stephen Amell sitting at ringside.

The New Day vs. Los Matadores

We go to the ring and Los Matadores wait in the ring with El Torito as Xavier Woods, Big E and Kofi Kingston make their way out. It’s Kofi and Big E representing The New Day. Kofi starts off with Fernando and they go at it. Fernando hits a hurricanrana and dropkick until Big E comes in to run over him. Big E slams the Matador and stomps away in the corner.

Kofi and Big E do several tags and stomping on Fernando in the corner as we see WWE Tag Team Champions The Prime Time Players watching backstage. Woods just yells at ringside. Kofi drops Fernando for a 2 count. Big E comes back in and hits a splash for a 2 count. Diego finally tags in and unloads on Kofi. Big E tries to come in and gets kicked. Woods provides distraction but Torito leaps onto him from the apron. Woods catches him but Fernando dropkicks Woods from behind and down he goes. In the ring, Big E gets the tag and hits the double team for the win.

Winners: The New Day

– We get hype for Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker before going to commercial.

– Back from the break and we see shots of The Prime Time Players hanging out with the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks earlier today.

– We see The New Day backstage celebrating their win when Renee Young approaches them for comments. Woods says their cements them as the #1 contenders. Renee reveals The New Day vs. Los Matadores vs. The Lucha Dragons vs. The Prime Time Players for the WWE Tag Team Titles at SummerSlam.

– Triple H is backstage with Seth Rollins. He ends up talking Rollins into getting hype about his title defense tonight. Rollins says if Cena can do it every week, he can do it every week and do it better.

– We get a look at the feud between Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt. Cole plugs Reigns and Dean Ambrose vs. Wyatt and Luke Harper at SummerSlam. Harper will face Ambrose later tonight.

– Still to come, Owens vs. Cesaro vs. Orton. Back to commercial.

#1 Contender Triple Threat: Kevin Owens vs. Cesaro vs. Randy Orton

Back from the break and Kevin Owens waits in the ring with Randy Orton as Cesaro wraps his entrance up. The bell rings and Owens ducks a RKO. Owens goes for Cesaro but Orton and Cesaro take turns on him. Owens rolls to the floor for a breather. Orton rolls Cesaro up for 2. Cesaro ducks a clothesline and goes to Owens on the floor. Owens turns around to a clothesline from Orton on the floor. Orton rolls Owens in but Cesaro nails Orton. Cesaro comes in on Owens with a 2 count. Cesaro goes for the Swing but it’s blocked so he hits a double stomp for 2.

Cesaro with uppercuts on Owens. Orton comes in with a t-bone on Cesaro. Orton with a 2 count on Cesaro. Owens splashes Cesaro. Orton ends up on the apron with Cesaro but Owens interrupts. Owens sends Cesaro into the ring post. Owens brings Orton back in and hits the back splash for a 2 count. Fans chant “fight Owens fight” as he unloads on Orton. Owens mocks Orton with his pose to a mixed reaction. Orton comes out of the corner with a big clothesline and does his pose to a big pop. Cesaro comes in and hits Orton with an uppercut. We’re having a bad storm and I’m experiencing technical difficulties but my feed comes back to Orton hitting a backbreaker. Cesaro with a crossbody on Orton for a 2 count. Orton turns it around but Cesaro blocks a RKO and takes him down into a crossface. Orton escapes by crawling to the floor. Owens nails Cesaro and then leaps over the top rope onto both of them. We go to commercial.

We come back and Owens hits the cannonball on Cesaro for a 2 count. Owens goes to the top but Orton cuts him off. Orton climbs up for a superplex but Owens fights him, sending him to the mat. Cesaro jumps up with a dropkick to Owens, causing him to slump over on the top. Orton and Cesaro both climb up for a double superplex. Cesaro crawls for the pin but Orton pulls him off. Orton and Cesaro have words now. Cesaro ends up hitting the Cesaro Swing on Orton. He applies the Sharpshooter. Orton breaks the hold and gets a 2 count on Cesaro. Orton ends up hitting the powerslam on Owens. Orton grabs Cesaro and Owens at the same time on the apron for a double draping DDT. Orton gets a big pop as he readies for the RKO. Cesaro blocks it and Owens pulls Orton to the floor. Owens with a fall-away slam into the barrier. Owens yells out but Cesaro leaps over the top and takes him out to a big pop.

Owens with a crossbody on Cesaro back in the ring for a 2 count. Cesaro comes right back with a clothesline from the second rope and takes Owens down again for another pin attempt. Fans chant “this is awesome” as Cesaro takes Owens to the top. Cesaro goes for a super gutwrench from the top but Owens causes him to lose his balance and he falls. Owens goes for a swanton but Cesaro gets his knees up. Cesaro runs into a big superkick. Cesaro blocks the pop-up powerbomb and Orton appears with a RKO out of nowhere on Owens. Cesaro also takes the RKO. Orton covers Cesaro for the win and the title shot later tonight.

Winner and New #1 Contender: Randy Orton

– After the match, Orton gets up as we go to replays. We see Rollins watching backstage with a smirk on his face. The announcers play up how there’s a good chance we see a new WWE World Heavyweight Champion tonight. We get another replay of the finish as Orton hits the turnbuckles to pose.

– Dean Ambrose is backstage with a promo on how he didn’t have a lot of friends growing up but when he got older, he did… Roman Reigns appears and says he must be the first real friend Ambrose has had. They talk about they are brothers and would do anything for each other and Harper would do anything for Wyatt but Wyatt wouldn’t do the same. Ambrose says they’re going to put their twisted family ties to the test tonight and at SummerSlam. Reigns tells us to believe that.

– More hype for Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker as we go to commercial.

– We come back to a video of various WWE Superstars, Divas and Hall of Famers discussing Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker. Triple H and Paul Heyman are also featured. Triple H says all hell is going to break loose at SummerSlam. Steve Austin calls it a must-win situation for The Undertaker. Heyman says Lesnar will put an end to The Deadman. It’s confirmed that both Lesnar and The Undertaker will be on RAW from Minneapolis next week. They plug the post-RAW WWE Network special on Taker and Lesnar tonight.

Dean Ambrose vs. Luke Harper

We go to the ring and out comes Dean Ambrose to a pop. Back to commercial.

Back from the break and Roman Reigns makes his way through the crowd. Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper are out next. Wyatt scares Saxton out of his chair to take a eat at ringside. Harper and Ambrose go at it with a lot of brawling and back and forth early on. Harper with a big side slam for a 2 count. Harper takes Ambrose to the corner with strikes and then slams him. Harper with another slam. Ambrose with a shoulder. Ambrose dumps Harper to the floor and dropkicks him through the ropes. Ambrose with an elbow drop from the apron while Harper is standing. We go to commercial.

Back from the break and Harper nails a big slam for another 2 count. Harper with a gator roll and a headlock. Fans chant “sit down Byron” but he can’t because Wyatt still has his chair. Ambrose fights to his feet and hits a headbutt but Harper launches him face first into the second turnbuckle for a 2 count.

Harper keeps control and poses as fans boo. Wyatt stands up for a second as Harper manhandles Ambrose some more. Ambrose slams Harper by his head and Harper runs into a boot. Ambrose hits a big tornado DDT out of the corner. Reigns tries to rally fans as Wyatt looks concerned. Ambrose and Harper trade shots but Ambrose unloads and hits a sunset flip for 2. Harper blocks Dirty Deeds and kicks Ambrose. More back and forth. Harper blocks the bulldog but misses a big kick in the corner and tumbles out to the floor. They brawl at ringside now. Ambrose grabs Wyatt and sends him over the announce table. Harper grabs Ambrose but gets clotheslined. Ambrose brings it in the ring and ducks a clothesline. Ambrose with another roll up for 2. Ambrose hits the bounce back clothesline. Wyatt runs over to hit Ambrose on the floor but misses and gets taken out by Reigns. Harper pulls Reigns off Wyatt and superkicks him. Ambrose leaps out onto Harper from the apron. Ambrose brings it back in the ring and goes to the top. Harper crotches him and sends him to the mat. Harper hits the discus clothesline for the win.

Winner: Luke Harper

– After the match, we go to replays as Reigns checks on Ambrose and The Wyatt Family backs up the ramp.

– Still to come, Miz TV with Daniel Bryan. Back to commercial.

– Back from the break and The Miz is in the ring for another episode of MizTV. He welcomes us and points actor Stephen Amell out at ringside. He tells Amell to call him so he can re-brand and teach him how to act after Stardust gets done running through him. Miz introduces his guest and out comes Daniel Bryan to a big pop.

Bryan hits the ring and continues a big “yes!” chant with the fans before taking a seat. A big “Daniel Bryan” chant breaks out. Miz welcomes Bryan back to MizTV but fans just keep chanting his name. Bryan laughs as they chant his name for a while. Miz hushes them and gets booed. Miz welcomes him back again and Bryan thanks him. A huge “yes!” chant starts now. Bryan jokes that fans better be quiet because Miz wants them to shut up. A “no!” chant starts now. Bryan says he didn’t come here to be on Miz TV, he came here because he would never miss RAW in his home state. Bryan does a Seahawks chant with fans and Miz gets booed after saying he’s a Cleveland Browns fan. Miz wants to talk about how he made Bryan’s career. Bryan says Miz loves to take credit for his success but his accomplishments are due to hard work and the fans.

Miz brings up Bryan’s medical status and says he’s still not cleared to return to the ring. Fans boo. Miz says Bryan is on the shelf like a broken old toy that nobody wants to play with. Miz asks what’s that like because he’s never experienced an injury in WWE. He wants to know what it’s like to sit at home, do nothing and dwell on the past. Bryan says he’s been kind of busy and plugs his New York Times Best Seller. He also plugs being a judge on WWE Tough Enough. Miz says he was flipping through the book and was disappointed he didn’t have more chapters devoted to him. Miz says he’s also a judge on Tough Enough and is the most experienced. Miz asks if Bryan thinks Ryback should follow Bryan’s lead by vacating the Intercontinental Title. Miz thinks he should be given the title. Big Show’s music hits and out he comes.

Big Show is tired of the crap that comes out of Miz’s mouth. He calls him a cross-dressing Jedi manure spreader. Show asks if Miz honestly thinks he has a chance at winning the title. Show goes to address Bryan and a “please retire” chant starts. Show tells the crowd to find someone that can retire him. The music hits and out comes WWE Intercontinental Champion Ryback making his return. Ryback gets a pop as he makes his way to the ring. Miz exits as does Bryan. Fans chant “feed me more” as Show and Ryback stare each other down. Bryan grabs Miz and rolls him back in the ring, right in between Ryback and Show. A “yes!” chant starts as Miz sands up and pleads with them. Show rams them both in the corner and tosses Mi across the ring. Show splashes Miz in the corner Ryback spears Show into Miz and hits a big clothesline. Bryan comes back in as another “feed me more” chant starts. Now a “yes!” chant starts as they wait for Miz to get up. Ryback nails a Meathook clothesline, one so hard it knocks Miz’s shoe off. Bryan hands Ryback the Intercontinental Title and raises his arm. They celebrate together to Ryback’s music.

– We get a look at Orton vs. Rollins at WrestleMania 31. Still to come, Orton vs. Rollins with the WWE World Heavyweight Title on the line. Back to commercial.

– We get a vignette for Charlotte and Cole announces Team PCB vs. Team Bella vs. Team BAD in a nine-Divas Elimination Match for SummerSlam.

Rusev vs. Mark Henry

We come back and Lana is on commentary as Rusev makes his way out with Summer Rae. Mark Henry is out next.

They go at it too start and Lana gets up early on to take out Summer at ringside. Lana ends up in the ring at Rusev’s feet. She stands up but Summer attacks her from behind and the referee calls for the bell. Henry tries to get involved but Rusev nails him and sends him into the steel steps. Summer unloads on Lana and slams her face into the mat while Rusev looks on. Rusev pulls Summer up and then tells her to crush Lana. Summer stomps and applies The Accolade on Lana before leaving her laying face down. Rusev and Summer raise their arms as a Bulgarian flag drops down with Rusev’s face on it. Cole mentions that Lana told us earlier Dolph Ziggler is getting better and should be back after SummerSlam.

– Cole talks about Stephen Amell. We get a video package for Neville’s match last week against Seth Rollins and the Stardust promo on Neville. We get another look at Amell at ringside. Up next, Neville will be in action. Back to commercial.

King Barrett vs. Neville

Back from the break and King Barrett is wrapping up his entrance. Neville is out next as Stephen Amell looks on from ringside.

They lock up and Barrett takes it to the corner. He beats Neville down and hits a big knee to the back for a 2 count.Barrett with more offense before running Neville into the corner from the apron. He beats Neville with forearms to the back. Barrett misses a knee and Neville kicks him in the face. Neville goes up for Red Arrow and nails it for the easy win.

Winner: Neville

– As soon as the match is over, Stardust runs in and beats Neville down. Stardust goes to ringside and gets in Stephen Amell’s face. Stardust pulls back and mushes him. Amell comes back out of his chair and chases Stardust back in the ring and tackles him. Amell with forearms and punches on Stardust. WWE security runs in and pulls Amell off Stardust while he retreats to safety with Barrett. Neville stands guard as Amell backs security off and exits the ring on his own. Barrett and Stardust look on as we go to commercial.

– Back from the break and we see what just happened. Triple H is upset with Amell for getting involved when they brought him here. Amell wants Triple H to let he and Neville take care of Stardust at SummerSlam. Triple H says Amell isn’t now and never will be a WWE Superstar. They go back and forth. Amell says he’s a man and Stardust put his hands on him. He will have his lawyers do whatever it takes and he will sign anything they want. Triple H says if he signs the papers they have done by 9am he can have the match – Amell and Neville vs. Stardust and King Barrett at SummerSlam.

– JoJo is backstage with Sheamus with comments on tonight’s title match. He fumbles over his words, something about the Goonies, and just laughs at himself for a second. He teases cashing in Money In the Bank.

WWE World Heavyweight Title Match: Randy Orton vs. Seth Rollins

We go to the ring for tonight’s main event and out comes Randy Orton. Back to commercial.

Back from the break and out comes WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. We get formal ring introductions from Lilian Garcia.

They start the match and Rollins goes right to the floor as fans boo. He comes back to the apron but stalls some more. Rollins finally comes back in and goes at it with Orton, backing him into the corner. Rollins unloads and stomps away. Rollins keeps control and hits shoulder thrusts in the corner. Rollins blocks a RKO and scrambles to the floor for another breather as we go back to commercial.

Back from the break and Rollins is in control. Orton tries to fight back but Rollins slams him for a 2 count. Rollins keeps control and hits a neckbreaker as we get dueling chants from the crowd. Orton rolls to the floor. Rollins charges but Orton cuts him off with a right hand. Orton comes back in with a clothesline. Rollins blocks the powerslam but Orton roll him up for 2. Rollins blocks the backbreaker but Orton hits the powerslam. Orton with a 2 count.

Rollins goes back to the floor. He grabs the title as fans boo. Rollins goes to leave but Orton clotheslines him into the timekeeper’s area. Orton slams Rollins’ head into the announce table and slams him onto it. Orton brings it back in the ring. Rollins gets in a cheap shot. He almost throws Orton into the referee but Orton stops. Rollins rolls Orton up for 2. Rollins argues with the referee and Orton rolls him up for 2. Rollins with a kick to the face. Rollins goes to the top but Orton crotches him. Orton climbs up for a superplex and nails it but Rollins kicks out at 2. Rollins goes for the Pedigree but it’s countered. Orton takes Rollins to the apron for the draping DDT but Rollins knocks Rollins to the apron and hits a kick to the head. Rollins grabs Orton and gets booed as he goes for Orton’s draping DDT. Rollins nails it. Rollins plays to the crowd as they boo him. Rollins drops down and mocks Orton like he does for the RKO. Rollins stalks Orton and goes for a Pedigree but Orton counters. They tangle into the ropes. Orton blocks another Pedigree. Rollins goes to the top but Orton catches him in mid-air with a big RKO for a 2 count as Sheamus pulls Orton out of the ring for the disqualification.

Winner by DQ: Randy Orton

– Sheamus pulls Orton to the floor and unloads on him, sending him into the steel steps. Sheamus tosses Orton over the barrier to huge heat. Sheamus comes in the ring with his Money In the Bank briefcase and nails a Brogue Kick on Rollins. He hands the briefcase over and goes to cash it in but is yelling with the referee, it looks like they’re stalling. Orton comes in and nails a RKO on Sheamus, stopping the cash-in before it happened. We go to replays and come back to Rollins recovering on the floor and Orton standing tall over Sheamus in the ring. RAW goes off the air with Sheamus rolling out to the floor and Orton posing in the corner.
