WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin had his say on the Dana White controversy on Twitter when he called wrestling fake, sparking a controversy among wrestling personalities and fans. In his latest podcast which featured Daniel Cormier, a big WWE fan who is also the UFC Light Heavyweight champion, Austin sort of defended Dana White saying that maybe he was trying to say that wrestling is a work. He said he doesn’t think White meant any disrespect towards the wrestling industry. Turning to Cormier, Austin said he would take him and anyone on the UFC roster for a whole year on the road with WWE and they would never say that this business is fake but instead they would say that it’s tough. “Fake, Dana? Not so much, a work? Yes,” Austin said, adding that he has no problems with Dana White and he loves the UFC. “But I think he does respect the business and hell, one of his biggest draws came from the world of pro wrestling,” Austin added, referring to Brock Lesnar.
