More on AJ Styles Turning Down Hall of Fame Deal from TNA, Another TNA Live Event Scheduled

– TNA has another live event scheduled for Saturday, September 19th in Rostraver, Pennsylvania. As noted, they have another live event set for September 17th in York, PA, which is the first regular live event since 2014.

– We noted before that former TNA World Heavyweight Champion and current IWGP Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles turned down a significant deal to enter the TNA Hall of Fame and wrestle a match at this month’s Slammiversary pay-per-view because his priorities are with Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling right now.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that a multi-date deal was discussed several months ago, which would have saw Styles wrestle at the Slammiversary and Bound For Glory pay-per-views, plus the Hall of Fame induction.
