Seth Rollins’ music plays as makes his way out accompanied by J&J Security, Kane, and The Big Show. Rollins says it feels so good when a plan works out perfectly. This past Sunday at WrestleMania, he cashed in his contract by inserting himself into the main event beating Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar to become WWE World Heavyweight Champion. He has now solidified himself as the new face of WWE He says being WWE Champion isn’t just about being the best of the ring, which he has proven he is. He says after he won the Championship he hopped on a private jet and flew across the country to appear on The Today Show. Afterwards, he hopped back on the private jet back to San Jose to walk into RAW to find out Brock Lesnar was demanding his rematch. He says he understands the fans can’t relate to being Seth Rollins but flying across the country twice in a day gets you jetlagged. He says he’s new to this new being champ thing but the WWE Universe deserves Seth Rollins at 100 percent. He says that even though Brock deserves a rematch, Monday night wasn’t his night.
He says that if Brock hadn’t attacked innocent announcers and cameramen then maybe he’d get his rematch tonight. Randy Orton’s music plays as he makes his way out. Orton says he remembers everything, how Rollins curb stomped him through the announce table through the steel steps, he also remembers playing The Authority like a fiddle, and then almost ripping Rollins’ head off with a RKO this past Sunday before he cashed in his briefcase. What he remembers most of all is being owed a rematch since last year’s WrestleMania so as far as he sees it with Brock Lesnar indefinitely suspended that puts him at the top of the line for a title shot. Rollins asks why dwell in the past when the present and future of WWE is standing in the ring, he tells Orton he doesn’t know whohe thinks he is, but in Seth Rollins’ world, he and he alone decides who’s next in line. Orton tells Rollins he never does anything alone. He says he understands J&J Security, because their spineless cowards but Kane and Big Show he doesn’t understand. He says that he gives Show credit for winning the Andre The Giant Battle Royal. He doesn’t recall seeing Kane at WrestleMania and asks what the director of operations does. He says that Kane went from the big red monster to little red riding hood.
Kane says as director of operations he has plenty of power and that’s why tonight Orton will face The Big Show and if he can defeat him, maybe The Authority will reconsider his title opportunity and the match starts now.
Randy Orton vs. The Big Show
Show gets Orton in the corner but Orton gives Show some right hands but Show comes back with a headbutt and gets Orton in the corner with a right hand and then splashes him in the corner. Orton then takes Show down with a clothesline. Show then sets Show up on the top rope and connects with a DDT. J&J Security and Kane attack Orton causing the DQ.
winner: by disqualification, Randy Orton
Post Match: The Authority continue beating Orton down and then Rollins comes in the ring and Orton unloads on Rollins but The Authority get the better of him and Kane delivers a chokeslam. Ryback’s music plays and everyone minus J&J Security escape the ring and Ryback gives both guys a spinebuser. Orton with a RKO to Kane. Seth Rollins heads up the ramp looking on with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
We are taken back to RAW where Bad News Barrett attacked Daniel Bryan after his successful title defense against Dolph Ziggler and then Sheamus returned sending Barrett scurrying. Sheamus then attacked both Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler. Then Sheamus says he’s back.
Later tonight, what was supposed to be a tag match with Daniel Bryan teaming up with Dolph Ziggler against Sheamus and Bad News Barrett has changed to a singles match where Daniel Bryan takes on Sheamus due Dolph being injured from the brogue kick.
Still photos are shown of The Rock coming out to confront HHH and Stephanie McMahon, Stephanie slapping The Rock, The Rock inviting Ronda Rousey into the ring, and Rousey taking down HHH and Stephanie.
The Bella Twins are at commentary for the next Divas match.
Naomi vs. Natalya
We are shown from earlier where Naomi says people have been saying her win over Nikki Bella was a fluke but she beat the Divas Champion which means she can beat the Divas Champion. She says she has no problem proving herself starting with Natalya because Funk is on a roll. Natalya gets an arm lock on Naomi but Naomi reverses into one of her own and then a series of reversals between the 2 and Natalya gets Naomi in the corner and Natalya then gets Naomi against the ropes and slams her to the mat and gives her a kick to the face for a 2 count. Natalya gets Naomi in an abdominal stretch and Naomi fights out and gets Natalya in one of her own but Natalya powers out. Natalya sends Naomi over the top rope but Naomi holds on and gives Natalya a stiff kick. Naomi comes off the top rope but Natalya ducks and sets Naomi up for the sharpshooter but Naomi counters with a roll up for a 2 count. Naomi then tucks Natalya’s head between her legs and slams her head on the mat for the pin and win.
winner: Naomi
John Cena will be out later tonight. Also, Roman Reigns will speak later tonight.
Kane is backstage and Rollins shows up and apologizes for the RKO he got. He says he loves that Orton actually has a shot at his title. Kane says he is considering it. He says Extreme Rules is less than 4 weeks away and the WWE World Heavyweight Championship stands between Randy Orton and Seth Rollins. Kane asks Rollins if he’s afraid he may lose to Orton. Rollins says no that’s absurd, he asks if Kane is really buying into what Orton says. He tells Kane he’s smarter than Orton and Kane tells Rollins that he’s better than Orton. Rollins says this stinks and Kane tries to reason with him and Rollins says the office stinks and walks off. Dean Ambrose shows up saying he used Kane’s executive bathroom. Kane tells Ambrose since he rudely used his executive bathroom, he’ll face Luke Harper later tonight. Ambrose says thanks and walks off.
Byron Saxton has an interview with Roman Reigns. Byron Saxton asks Roman what it was like to finally step in the ring with Brock. Roman says it’s a huge honor to be in the main event of WrestleMania. He came out swinging, he hit Brock with a punch and Brock picked him up and hit suplexes on him. He says he got down and got up each time. Byron asks him what his strategy was, he says when you step in the ring with Brock you have to step in his world. He says he went on a ride to suplex city. He says that when he hit Brock in the mouth, it didn’t appear he had a counter to his counter. He says Brock wasn’t ready for him and when he hit him in the middle, he didn’t have an answer. He says he changed Brock’s face with his fist. He changed his appearance permanently. Byron says that multiple times during the match he laughed at Brock asking him the message he was trying to send. Roman said that fight changed both of their lives and things are different. Brock tried to knock him down and keep him down for good. Roman says he was trying to do more than send a message and every time Brock smacked him, he got up and smiled in his face. Brock could not knock out Roman Reigns. Byron then asks Roman about the moment where he was sure he had Brock beat and Rollins comes out and cashes in. Roman says it’s terrible, he was right there and climbed the mountain. He says he was at the top and looked down and was pulled right off. He says Seth Rollins had the briefcase he could cash in at anytime and what a perfect time to let the animals fight it out and pick their bones. Roman says he only needed 30 more seconds and he would have taken that fist right in Brock’s chest. He’s beaten Seth Rollins before, he can, and will beat him again.
We are shown a look from Monday night when The Miz attacked Damien Mizdow after his victory over Stardust
The Miz vs. R Truth
. Miz gets Truth in a headlock and R Truth shoves him off but Miz with a shoulder tackle knocking Truth down. Truth gets up and gives Miz a right hand followed by a dropkick and goes for the scissors kick but Miz goes to a roll up but Truth holds onto the the ropes and Truth goes for the Truth detector but Miz hits the skull crushing finale for the pin and the win.
winner: The Miz
Post Match: Damien Mizdow comes out and hits Miz with the skull crushing finale and puts on Miz’s sunglasses as he stands over him.
John Cena’s music plays as he makes his way out. Cena has a mic and says Fresno is fired up tonight as is he. He reminds everyone of their declaration of independence at WrestleMania when he shows the contract for the match. He says Finally The United States title gets the respect it deserves, he isn’t taking anything from Rusev as an athlete, he took Cena to the limit and spent a year in WWE undefeated destroying everything in his path. He says Rusev as the champ made him sick, not because he’s Russian but because every time he opened his mouth he showed he was a douchebag. Rusev is the American dream, he came to America and was given opportunity and success and decided to tell everyone America sucked, which it doesn’t. He says he is proud of The United States of America and the United States Championship. He says USA is the land of opportunity. He stands in the ring right now saying to bring anybody of any type and he’ll give them an opportunity to become United States Champion. He says starting on RAW he started the United States Championship opportunity and he’ll be doing it each and every week as Rusev’s music plays with him making his way out holding the Russian flag alongside Lana.
Lana says what happened at WrestleMania wasn’t an opportunity but a travesty. She says Cena isn’t worthy to be champion and is only half the man Rusev is. He says this is Rusev’s world and everyone should be grateful they live in his era. Rusev did not lose at WrestleMania and is still America’s Champion and a Russian Tank . He says Cena is no hero but a coward just like the fans. Rusev starts talking Russian. Rusev says this is his domain, Rusev says in his world people like Cena get opportunity to surrender what is his or face him at Extreme Rules. Cena tells Rusev to calm down. He says Rusev is not only dumb and blind but apparently drunk. He’s gonna offer Rusev some truth serum, he did lose at WrestleMania and the only thing standing between the 2 is fear and common sense and if Rusev wants to fight the Champ is Here. Rusev waves the Russian flag saying he’ll see that at Extreme Rules. He then motions for the Russian Flag to come down saying we’ll see that but Cena then motions and the United States Flag comes down with Cena saying we’re going to see that. Cena then sings the national anthem. Cena talks all things American saying they’ll kick Rusev’s ass at WrestleMania.
Luke Harper vs. Dean Ambrose
Ambrose gets Harper on the corner and then Harper gets in control and whips Ambrose in the corner and elbows Harper. Harper then with a neckbreaker to Harper for a 2 count. Harper gets a cheap shot on Ambrose and works him in the ropes but Ambrose comes back with a right hand but Harper gets a right hand on Ambrose. Harper charges at Ambrose who comes back with a kick and then goes gets a bodyslam on Harper for a 2 count. Ambrose then gets Harper up but Harper whips Ambrose into the ropes sending him over onto the mat as Smackdown goes to break.
Back from break and Harper has Ambrose in a headlock but Ambrose gets out and Ambrose sends Harper out of the ring. Ambrose then does a suicide dive to Harper. Ambrose gets Harper back in the ring and comes off the top rope with an elbow for a 2 count. Ambrose with hits to the gut and Harper with a big boot to Ambrose. Harper then goes for a powerbomb but Ambrose gets out and sends Harper over the top rope. Ambrose exits the ring and goes after Harper but Harper sends Ambrose into the timekeeper area. Harper then starts to take the announce table apart and Ambrose comes off the barricade onto Harper. Harper then gets Ambrose up and sends him into the steel post. Harper then powerbombs Ambrose through the table. EMT’s come out and Harper picks up a chair and throws it and gets in the EMT’s face and then walks off.
We are shown that During Commercial EMT’s walked Dean Ambrose to the back
We see The Prime Time Players backstage talking about how The New Day is washed up. Titus starts mocking Big E saying he sounds like he has a possum going through his throat. Darren says he has no rythym. They say that Kofi has the moves but no muscle. They then refer to Xavier’s hair is nappy and if your hair is nappy no one is happy. They then do the New Day Shtick and then we hear crickets chirp. They then do the millions of dollars shtick
Sheamus’ new music plays as he makes his way out. Fans chant “you look stupid” to Sheamus as he tells the fans to let it out. He tells them to keep it going. He says the reason he attacked Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler is simply because he can. He says as he was at home watching RAW and SD, he wondered where all the men are. He says that They’re good little workers but they make Kevin Hart look like Shaq. He said they can’t hang in the main event. He says he isn’t there to disappoint or put a smile on people’s face. He’s there to crush dreams and put every little underdog on the shelf.
Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus
Bad News Barrett is at commentary during this match. Bryan starts off giving kicks to Sheamus but Sheamus with right hands to Bryan in the corner and tries to send Bryan face first in the corner but Bryan counters and gives Sheamus more kicks in the corner but Sheamus comes back with repeated uppercuts and then hits him across the chest and gives him a knee to the gut. Sheamus works Bryan in the corner against the ropes and slaps him and Bryan comes back with kicks and then hip tosses him and works on him with some punches. Sheamus then exits the ring. The ref starts to count as Sheamus re enters the ring and they lock up and Sheamus with a chop to Bryan and goes for a clothesline but Bryan ducks and gets a dropkick on Sheamus. Bryan then goes for a bulldog but Sheamus counters with a backbreaker as Smackdown goes to break.
Back from break and Sheamus has Bryan in a rest hold as Bryan tries to fight out but Sheamus tosses Bryan and then lifts Bryan up for a suplex and tosses him across the ring and then hits a knee to the shoulder. Sheamus then once again lifts Bryan up for a suplex and tosses him across the ring. Sheamus then with an uppercut sending Bryan in the corner. Sheamus with a boot to Bryan in the corner. Sheamus continues shoving and slapping Bryan in the corner and Bryan fires back with smacks and punches. Bryan then with a running clothesline on Sheamus. Sheamus chargesat Bryan but Bryan sends him over the top rope onto the floor. Bryan then with a suicide dive to Sheamus. Bryan comes off the top rope with a missile dropkick. Bryan then with a series of kicks. Sheamus then goes for white noise on Bryan and Bryan gets out and tries to get the Yes Lock on Sheamus but Sheamus escapes but Bryan with a drop toe hold to Sheamus in the corner. Bryan then comes off the top rope but Sheamus crotches him. Sheamus with right hands on Bryan and then works on Bryan’s neck as he tosses him around. Sheamus then hits the 10 beats to Bryan and then Bryan counters with headbutts and Sheamus sends Bryan flying face first into the announcers table. Bryan is busted open. The ref is distracted as Barrett hits Bryan with a bull hammer. Sheamus then tries to get Bryan back in the ring but can’t get him up and then gets back in the ring and Bryan is counted out.
winner: by countout, Sheamus
Post Match: A trainer from the back checks on Bryan as he’s busted open as Sheamus walks up the ramp celebrating his countout victory as Smackdown comes to a close.
