The state prosecutor’s office told the Associated Press that it had opened an investigation into a possible manslaughter case.Cause cause of death is believed to have been cervical spine trauma caused by a blow to the head after Perro Aguayo Jr. was kicked by Rey Mysterio to set up a 619. He struck his head on the ropes while going down to get into the position to take the move.

The death of Lucha Libre star Perro Aguayo Jr., has been picked up by the mainstream media including stories running on CNN, NBC News, Los Angeles Times, Yahoo News, BBC, UK’s Daily Mail, and a bunch of other news websites which ran the piece written by the Associated Press. The most
interesting news is that the state prosecutor’s office has said that it has opened an investigation into possible manslaughter, putting everyone
who was in the ring in jeopard, especially Mysterio who was the one who hit Aguayo Jr., last with a dropkick after he came back in the ring. The autopsy concluded that Aguayo Jr., died in the ring after trauma to the neck and a cervical fracture.
