Vince McMahon and Other WWE Execs See Pay Increase, WWE at SXSW, Jerry Lawler vs. Andy Kaufman
– WrestlingDVDNews.com reports that Jerry Lawler’s legendary feud with Andy Kaufman will be covered on WWE’s “It’s Good To Be King: The Jerry Lawler Story” DVD and Blu-ray that comes out on May 19th. These matches will be included: Lawler’s April 5th, 1982 Memphis Wrestling match vs. Kaufman plus Lawler vs. Kaufman and Jimmy Hart from the November 21st, 1983 Memphis Wrestling.
– Hulk Hogan, George Barrios and Renee Young will be representing WWE at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas this weekend. There will be a panel discussion on the WWE Network and more. Full details are at this link.
– The announcement on WWE’s 2015 shareholders meeting issued this week noted that Vince McMahon’s salary base has been increased from $1.184 million to $1.25 million while Triple H’s has been increased from $550,000 to $577,500, Kevin Dunn’s salary has increased from $825,000 to $866,250, CFO George Barrios’ salary has increased from $700,000 to $728,000 and WWE Studios’ Michael Luisi saw an increase from $600,000 to $624,000.
