– Bennett began his career in his native northeast, competing primarily for NECW
– On June 23, 2006, Bennett entered and won the TRP Kowalski Cup, defeating Joe Chece, Romeo Roselli & Slyk Wagner Brown on his way to victory
– On September 1, 2006, Bennett defeated Spike Dudley in a Street Fight to win the NRG Heavyweight Title
