Raw’s average yearly rating dips below 3.0

With Monday Night Raw on USA failing to achieve a 3.0 rating the last 11 episodes, the program’s 2014 average rating has dipped to 2.99. This week’s Raw, featuring the return of Vince McMahon, scored a 2.82 cable rating. Raw averaged a 3.01 rating in 2013.

The switch to Wednesday nights has not benefited the beleaguered Impact Wrestling on Spike TV. The previous two episodes achieved 0.75 and 0.76 ratings respectively, dropping the program’s average rating for the year to 0.95. TNA averaged a 0.99 rating last year.

On a side note, Smackdown, which will be moving to a weekly Thursday night time slot in 2015, is averaging a 1.9 cable rating in the present year, down from last year’s 1.92 average rating.
