Lockdown opens up with shots of Magnus and Samoa Joe arriving to the arena. We then get the opening video for the show before we go live into the arena where Mike Tenay and Taz welcome us to the show.

Six-Man Tag Team Steel Cage Match: Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels and Kazarian) and Chris Sabin vs. Yasu, Sanada, & The Great Muta

Sanada and Sabin start the match off for their teams. Sanada and Sabin battle it out for a bit before Kazarian and Yasu are tagged in. Yasu takes Kazarian down with a hip-toss and then tags in Muta. Muta takes Kazarian down and applies the cross-face, but Daniels gets into the ring and breaks it up. Muta sprays the mist and then tags in Yasu. Yasu goes for the cover, but Kazarian kicks out at two. Kazarian gets free and tags in Daniels, but Kazarian and Sabin join in for a triple-team attack on Yasu. Sabin is the legal man now and he tosses Yasu into the corner. Sabin chokes Yasu with his boot. Sabin mocks Muta and then tags in Kazarian. Kazarian drops a leg on Yasu and goes for the cover, but Yasu kicks out at two. Kazarian tags in Daniels, who connects with a moonsault on Yasu.

Yasu tags in Sanada, who goes toe-to-toe with Daniels foe a bit. Sanada takes control and tags in Muta. Muta delivers a corkscrew kick to all three opponents and goes for the submission. Daniel and Kazarian get to their feet and break it up. Muta sprays the mist in Kazarian’s face and then tags in Sanada. Daniels gets slammed to the mat and Sanada connects with a moonsault and gets the pin fall.
Winners: Sanada, The Great Muta, and Yasu.

After the match, Mike Tenay and Taz run down the remainder of the card tonight, but then Rockstar Spud’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring. He brings out Dixie Carter. Carter thanks everyone for worshiping her as their queen. She insults the fans for “looking like they’ve been hit by a hurricane.” Dixie says tonight she is going to turn the arena upside down. She says nobody is going to take any part of her company from her. She says she went to New York City to get an “insurance policy” for tonight and that she has security set up all around the building to keep Jeff Hardy out.

We go backstage with Jeremy Borash and Velvet Sky, who is answering the questions that the fans are sending her. Borash interviews Eric Young. Young says everything changes tonight and doesn’t pick a winning team for Lethal Lockdown.

We get the video preview for the feud between Mr. Anderson and Samuel Shaw.

Before the match, Samuel Shaw looks around ringside for Christy Hemme. He grabs a microphone and climbs to the top of the cage. He says if she doesn’t come out to ringside, he is going to “professional end it all.” He stands upon top of the cage and appears to be ready to jump from the top of the cage, but Mr. Anderson comes out and interrupts him. Anderson tells Shaw to get down so that he can beat him up a little bit.

Steel Cage Match: Mr. Anderson vs. Samuel Shaw
Anderson starts to beat down Shaw and Christy Hemme comes to the ring. Anderson drags Shaw to the middle of the ring and goes for the Mic Check, but Shaw elbows his way out. Anderson takes Shaw down with a gut-wrench suplex, but Shaw comes right back and begins beating down Anderson. Shaw begins to climb the cage to escape, but Anderson cuts him off. Shaw slams Anderson’s face into the cage repeatedly until Anderson falls down to the mat. Shaw gets one leg over the top of the cage, but Anderson drags him back in again. Anderson slams Shaw’s face into the cage now and then drops him down to the mat with a back-suplex. Both men crawl around on the mat, and then Shaw slams Anderson into the cage. Shaw finally spots Christy on the outside and then smiles and waves at her. Shaw tries to go out of the cage door, but Anderson dropkicks him and the door hits Earl Hebner on the outside. Anderson drops Shaw with the Mic Check. Anderson picks Shaw up again and delivers a second Mic Check, this time into the bottom turnbuckle. Anderson drops to the outside as Christy gets too close to the cage opening and Shaw drags her into the ring. Anderson tries to help her, but Shaw dropkicks him off the cage. Christy slams Shaw across the face and Anderson gets the key and unlocks the door. Anderson drops Shaw with a right hand and then gets Christy out of the cage. Shaw delivers a low-blow to Anderson and locks in the choke hold. Anderson passes out and Shaw escapes the cage as Hebner sees it and calls for the bell.
Winner: Samuel Shaw.

We go backstage and we see Bobby Roode talking to the BroMans. Roode talks about winning tonight and becoming 10% owner of TNA, but then Austin Aries walks up and he and the BroMans want some of the ownership as well. They all argue about the amount of the company that they get as we go back into the arena.

Before the match, Carter cuts a promo. He says when he was younger, he always dreamed about wrestling the best. He says Kurt Angle was the best, but he is the best now. He says he proved he is very good when he took out Angle twice. Carter says he is issuing an Open Challenge to anyone on the TNA roster to take Angle’s spot. Bobby Lashley answers the challenge. Carter tells Lashley to leave the ring because he is not on the roster. Carter tells Lashley to leave the ring before the same thing happens to him that happened to Angle.

Steel Cage Match: Ethan Carter III vs. Bobby Lashley
Lashley knocks Carter down and slams him down with a running power-slam. Lashley crouches in the corner and then drops him with a Spear. Carter leaves the ring as Lashley’s music hits and he celebrates in the ring.
Match Result: No Contest.

We see a Kenny King vignette that says he will be returning soon. We then see Velvet Sky backstage, still answering questions from the fans.

Magnus is backstage and begins cutting a promo. He says just like everything in his career, he has to do everything himself. He says tonight, it is Joe’s Rules in the cage. He says he has to battle against the agenda of MVP and the office. He says there is something that doesn’t sit with him, and that is what everyone is saying Joe is going to do to him. He says people need to be asking what he is going to do to Joe. Magnus says he is very dangerous, and Joe will realize that the hard way tonight.

Steel Cage Match: Manik vs. Tigre Uno
Manik and Uno battle back and forth and speed comes into a factor as neither man is able to gain the advantage until Uno finally drops Manik down to the mat. Uno sends Manik into the corner, but Manik counters with a head-scissors take down. Uno comes back and gets on the top rope and delivers a moonsault to Manik. Uno goes for the cover, but Manik kicks out at two. Manik comes back and delivers a dropkick to Uno that sends him into the cage door. Manik grabs Uno and slams him into the cage on the opposite side. Manik takes Uno down with a series of suplexes and then goes for the cover, but Uno kicks out at two. Manik gets Uno in a bridge submission, but Uno shifts his weight and gets free. Uno comes off the ropes, but Manik counters with a dropkick. Manik goes for the cover, but Uno kicks out at two. Manik goes for the back-breaker and then goes for the cover, but Uno kicks out at two. Uno comes back and takes Manik down with a head-scissors and then a spinning heel kick. Uno drops Manik with a DDT. Uno tries to escape the cage, but Manik cuts him off. Manik shoves Uno off the ropes and then delivers a missile dropkick. Manik picks Uno up and delivers a sit-out power bomb and goes for the cover, but Uno kicks out at two. Uno comes back and drops Manik with a cradle DDT and then connects with the Sabretooth Splash from the top rope and gets the pin fall.
Winner: Tigre Uno.

We see the video hype package for the feud between Gunner and James Storm.

Last Man Standing Steel Cage Match: Gunner vs. James Storm
Gunner and Storm begin brawling on the outside of the ring, and Gunner is the aggressor in the battle, not letting Storm get any offense in. Storm fights back and finally takes control and gets Gunner into the ring and the bell finally rings. Storm hits Gunner in the midsection with a chair and then wedges it into the corner. Gunner fights back for a bit, but Storm keeps control. Storm grabs one of the tag ropes from the turnbuckle and begins to choke Gunner with it. Gunner stirs at the count of three, and Storm chokes him with the rope again. Storm slams Gunner face-first into the corner, but Gunner begins to show no weakness and then drops Storm with a series of clotheslines and a running high knee. Gunner picks up a steel pan and slams it into Storm’s face. The referee begins to count, and Storm gets to his feet at the count of six. Gunner goes after Storm, but Storm counters and slams Gunner into the steel chair. Gunner gets to his feet at the count of five. Gunner gets to his feet as Storm charges at him, but Gunner takes Storm down with a Spear. Storm gets to his feet at the count of seven and reaches for a chair, but Gunner stops him. Gunner slams Storm down to the mar again and the referee begins the count. Gunner gets to the top rope and dives off, but Storm slams the chair into his face. Gunner gets to his feet at eight, and Storm nails him with the chair again and the referee begins the count. Storm sets up two chairs in the ring and goes to power-bomb Gunner through them, but Gunner fights out. Storm and Gunner fight on the top rope, and Gunner slams Storm’s head into the cage repeatedly. Gunner delivers a super-plex to Storm and Storm goes right through the two chairs that he set up. Both men are down until a count of nine, when Gunner props himself up with a chair, while Storm cannot answer the ten count.
Winner: Gunner.

We take a look back to Dixie Carter’s promo from earlier tonight, where she said Jeff Hardy is barred from the building.

We see The Wolves talking backstage about how they’re going to take out Team Dixie. MVP walks in and says they are going to stick to the plan and they will defeat Team Dixie.

We see the video hype package for the feud between Madison Rayne and Gail Kim.

TNA Knockouts Championship Steel Cage Match: Madison Rayne (c) vs. Gail Kim (w/Lei’D Tapa)
Kim goes for the escape right away, but Rayne cuts her off and takes her down to the mat. Kim comes back and chokes Rayne in the corner. Kim goes for a take down, but Rayne rolls through and goes for the cover, but Kim kicks out at two. Kim goes to the corner and tries to escape, but Rayne cuts her off again. Rayne slams Kim’s head into the cage and sends her down to the mat. Rayne dives off the top rope for a cross-body, but Kim moves and Rayne hits the mat. Kim goes for the cover, but Rayne kicks out at two. Kim chokes Rayne with her boot against the cage. Kim slams Rayne’s head into the mat and then kicks her in the back. Kim goes for the escape again, but Rayne cuts her off. Kim slings Rayne into the corner and then connects with a running clothesline. Kim delivers a back-breaker to Rayne and then hold the position for a submission. Rayne and Kim get on the top rope again, and Kim slams Rayne’s head into the cage. Kim grabs Rayne and slams her down to the mat. Kim goes for the cover, but Rayne kicks out at two. Kim tries to go out the door with the help of Tapa, but Rayne stops her. Kim rolls Rayne up and goes for the cover, but Rayne kicks out at two. Kim and Rayne begin climbing the cage again, and Rayne shoves Kim down to the mat. Rayne knocks Tapa off of the cage and the Spears Kim from the top rope to get the pin fall.
Winner and still TNA Knockouts Champion: Madison Rayne.

We go backstage and Samoa Joe is cutting a promo. He says he brought Magnus into the Main Event Mafia and for the past three months, he has been going toe-to-toe with Magnus because he threw it all away for the easy path. Joe says there is no easy path to greatness and he will prove that to Magnus tonight.

We now see the video hype package for the feud between Magnus and Samoa Joe.

TNA World Heavyweight Championship Steel Cage Match: Magnus (c) vs. Samoa Joe
Joe controls the early part of the match and takes Magnus down to the mat. Magnus fights back to his feet and sends Joe into the corner. Magnus backs away and charges, and then drives his shoulder into Joe in the corner. Joe comes back and slams Magnus into the cage, and Magnus is busted open. Magnus fights back and locks in a Figure Four leg-lock and Joe writes in pain, and Joe is busted open as well. Joe turns the Figure Four over and now it is locked into Magnus. Joe lets go of the hold and backs away. Joe charges, but Magnus takes him down with a drop-toe hold. Magnus apples a Camel Clutch, but Joe breaks the hold. Magnus goes for the sleeper hold, but Joe counters and drops Magnus with a rear-suplex. Joe continues to beat down Magnus. He drops him with a big boot and then delivers the back splash. Magnus rakes Joe’s eyes, but Joe grabs him and slams him down to the mat. Joe grabs Magnus’ arm and locks in an arm-breaker down on the mat. Joe sets Magnus up on the top rope and delivers a chop. Magnus rakes Joe’s eyes again and then sends Joe down to the mat. Magnus delivers an elbow drop from the top rope. Joe comes back with a series of slaps and then he sets Magnus on the top rope. Joe grabs Magnus and delivers a Muscle Buster and locks in the rear-naked choke.

We see a hand rise up from under the ring and it grabs Joe and pulls him under the ring. Joe emerges back from under the ring and chokes Magnus in the corner. Abyss gets into the ring and hits Joe with Janice. Abyss drops Joe with the Black Hole Slam. Magnus locks in the rear-naked choke on Joe, and Joe is knocked out and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner and still TNA World Heavyweight Champion: Magnus.

We go backstage and we see Eric Young confronting Magnus and Abyss, but Al Snow holds him back.

We see Dixie Carter on the phone with her “insurance policy,” and she sends Rockstar Spud to go get them. Bobby Roode walks in and wants to know what her plan is. She asks him when he is going to trust her, and he responds with “Never!” Dixie says, thanks to her, Jeff Hardy will be nowhere near the ring and she expects him to win. She says, just in case, however, she has her insurance policy. Dixie says Roode is the only one that can lose, because she has herself covered.

We see the video hype package for the Lethal Lockdown Match.

Lethal Lockdown Match: Team Dixie (Bobby Roode, Austin Aries, Jessie Godderz, and Robbie E) (w/DJ Zema Ion) vs. Team MVP (MVP, Davey Richards, Eddie Edwards, and Jeff Hardy)

Austin Aries and MVP start the match for their teams. MVP sends Aries into the corner and charges, but Aries moves and MVP gets caught up on the top rope. Aries sends MVP down to the mat and locks in a submission. Aries lets go of the hold and goes up top. Aries goes for a missile dropkick, but MVP moves out of the way and Aries hits the mat. MVP takes control of the match and takes Aries down with a suplex. MVP comes off the ropes, but Aries drops him with a clothesline. Aries sends MVP to the corner and then delivers a running dropkick. MVP comes back and takes Aries down on the mat and then strikes Aries with a few forearm shots. Aries reverses and locks MVP in an arm-bar, but MVP rolls through and locks Aries’ head in between his knees. The countdown clock begins and Robbie E enters the match.

Robbie E gets into the match and immediately gets taken down by MVP. Aries attacks MVP, which allows Robbie E to recover. They double-team MVP for a bit, but the countdown clock begins and Eddie Edwards enters the match. Edwards goes right after Aries and Robbie E to get them off of MVP. DJ Zema tries to climb the cage, but Edwards sends Robbie into the cage and DJ Zema falls to the floor. MVP and Edwards are in control of the match, but the countdown clock begins and Jessie Godderz enters the match.

The Bro-Mans beat down Edwards as Aries beats down MVP. Aries smacks MVP in the head and then dropkicks Edwards. Davey Richards enters the match.

Richards fights both of the Bro-Mans off and then sends Aries into the corner. Richards takes Robbie down with a boot to the side of his head. MVP and The Wolves triple-team Aries in the corner as the Bro-Mans are down on the other side of the ring. Edwards takes Aries down with a running elbow drop. The Bro-Mans get to their feet and beat down The Wolves and MVP. The Wolves counter and take down The Bro-Mans with dual Boston Crabs, but Aries takes them down as Bobby Roode enters the match.

Roode takes Edwards and Richards down with spine-busters and then works over Richards’ injured shoulder in the corner. Team Dixie is in control, but then MVP takes Aries down with a Spear. We see the countdown clock come on again, and the lights go out in the arena. They come back on and Willow is at the top of the cage. He delivers a cross-body to all four members of Team Dixie.

Team MVP beats down Team Dixie as Dixie Carter’s music hits. She introduces the special guest referee for the match, and Bully Ray’s music hits and he comes to the ring. Team MVP all stare down Ray as Team Dixie attack them from behind. Ray grabs a table from under the ring and puts it into the ring. Team Dixie has complete control of the match as Ray stands back and looks on. Rockstar Spud and Dixie Carter have a seat at ringside. Aries dropkicks a trash can lid into Richards’ shoulder. Roode locks Richards in the cross-face. Team MVP comes back and turns the tide in the match. MVP drops the Ballin’ Elbow on Roode, but Robbie takes him down right after. Willow flings Aries into the side of the cage. Roode grabs a hockey stick and begins beating down Team MVP with it. The Bro-Mans hit MVP with a kendo stick and go for the cover, but it is broken up at two. The Wolves double-dropkick a trashcan into The Bro-Mans. Edwards goes for the cover, but Aries breaks it up at two. Richards sets Aries in a chair and delivers a series of kicks to his chest. Aries counters and delivers a Brain Buster to Richards through the chair. Aries goes for the cover, but Willow breaks it up at two. Aries smashes a trashcan over Willow’s head. Aries goes for the 450 Splash on Willow, but Willow moves and Aries crashes through the trashcan. Willow nails Aries with a Twist of Fate and a Swanton Bomb and goes for the cover, but Roode breaks it up at two. Roode goes to slam MVP through the table, but Bully Ray gets in his way. Roode shoves Ray away, but then Ray slams Roode down to the mat. MVP kicks Roode in the face and goes for the cover, and Ray counts to three.
Winners: MVP, Davey Richards, Eddie Edwards, and Willow.

After the match, Bully Ray raises the hands of Team MVP as Dixie Carter and Rockstar Spud are in shock on the stage. MVP and The Wolves march up the ramp and get in Dixie’s face, but she pulls Spud down to the ring. She starts yelling at Ray and he glares down at her. Spud pulls Dixie away from ringside and Bully Ray delivers a power bomb to Roode through the table.

We see a video package for TNA Sacrifice, which will take place on Sunday, April 27th, as Lockdown comes to a close.
