– On January 12, 1996, Ogawa defeated Rex King to retain the AJPW Junior Heavyweight Title
– On March 2, 1996, Ogawa defeated Tsuyoshi Kikuchi to retain the AJPW Junior Heavyweight Title
– On May 23, 1996, Ogawa defeated Satoru Asako to retain the AJPW Junior Heavyweight Title
