Smackdown opens with a video package on the feud between Ryback and CM Punk and The Shield. It then transitions into showing that Dolph Ziggler vs. Sheamus is the main event for tonight. We go into the arena in Bossier City, Louisiana, and John Cena’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring.

Cena begins a promo and talks about Dolph Ziggler. Cena says Ziggler’s biggest accomplishment is that he was the World Heavyweight Champion for two minutes. Cena says Ziggler’s biggest fear is losing the Money in the Bank briefcase. Cena says Ziggler is in the main event tonight and Alberto Del Rio’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring with Ricardo Rodriguez. Del Rio calls Smackdown his show and reminds Cena that he destroyed him the last time they were in the ring together. Del Rio tells Cena to leave, but Cena says no because he is interested in the main event and that he has a match against Del Rio right now. Cena decks Del Rio, who scampers from the ring, as we go to a commercial.

Match #1: Alberto Del Rio (w/Ricardo Rodriguez) vs. John Cena
We’re back and Del Rio gets Cena in a headlock before Cena shoots him off the ropes and takes him down with a hip toss. Del Rio walks around the ring and then drapes Cena’s neck over the top rope. Cena goes to the outside and Del Rio kicks him in the ribs. Cena gets back into the ring and connects with some rights, but Del Rio slams him into the corner and stomps away on him. Del Rio stalks Cena and then delivers a big boot as we see Dolph Ziggler watching backstage. Del Rio works over Cena’s arm and then stretches it over the middle rope. Del Rio kicks Cena in the back and works over his arm some more as we go to a commercial.
We’re back and Cena takes Del Rio down with the Five Moves of Doom. Cena goes for the Attitude Adjustment, but Del Rio counters and gets a near fall. Cena comes back and delivers a Side Slam. Cena goes to the top rope, but Del Rio kicks him in the head and gets another near fall. Del Rio goes to the top rope and jumps off, but Cena counters with a dropkick. Cena goes for the AA again, but Del Rio rolls through and goes for the Cross Arm-breaker, but Cena counters with the STF. Del Rio gets to the ropes. Del Rio comes back and works on Cena’s arms. Del Rio jumps over the top rope, but Cena catches him and attempts the AA, but Del Rio slams him down for another near fall. Del Rio puts Cena upside-down in the corner and kicks him in the chest and then charges, but Cena pulls himself up and Del Rio goes shoulder-first into the ring post. Cena delivers the leg drop from the top rope for the pin fall.
Winner: John Cena.
After the match, Cena celebrates and goes up the ramp before Dolph Ziggler lays him out with the Money in the Bank briefcase.

We see a video replay from this past Monday night on Raw, where The Shield helped CM Punk defeat Kane. We then see Team Hell No backstage, when Kofi Kingston walks up. He says he knows they aren’t going to start getting along, but they need to be on the same page for their Six-Man Tag Team Match later tonight. Bryan says his partner will eviscerate every living soul in a wrestling ring and Kane says his partner can make men twice his size scream in pain. Kane says the answer is yes and he and Bryan walk away screaming “YES! YES! YES!”

We’re back from commercial and we see Booker T and John Cena backstage. Cena says he is going to attack Dolph Ziggler the second he goes out there. Booker says he needs his show to go smoothly and Cena can attack Ziggler some other time. Cena agrees and we go back into the arena.

Match #2: David Otunga vs. The Great Khali (w/Hornswoggle)
Khali tosses Otunga to the outside and Hornswoggle jumps on top of him. Otunga chases Hornswoggle around the ring before Khali takes him down with a big boot. Khali tosses Otunga back into the ring. Khali delivers the big chop for the pin fall.
Winner: The Great Khali.

We see some snapshots of Vince McMahon and some of the Superstars and Divas visiting the troops in the Persian Gulf. We then see that Kofi Kingston and Team Hell No vs. The Prime Time Players and Wade Barrett is next.

Match #3: Six-Man Tag Team Match: Kofi Kingston and Team Hell No vs. The Prime Time Players and Wade Barrett
Kane and Young start the match. Kane takes Young to the corner and pounds away on him. Kane knocks Young around more and choke him with his boot down on the mat. Kane takes Young to his corner and tags in Bryan. Kane catapults Bryan into Young and Bryan kicks Young in the chest repeatedly. Bryan tags in Kane again, who dropkicks Young and gets a near fall. Kane wrenches Young’s arm and drops a knee on it. Kane sends Young off the ropes, but Young counters with a kick and tags in O’Neil. Kane gets control and sends O’Neil to the outside. Kane tags in Bryan, who drives a knee into O’Neil’s face on the outside as we go to a commercial.
We’re back and Kingston takes Young down with a dropkick for a near fall. Kingston tags in Kane, who stomps away on Young. Kane tags in Bryan, and they slam Young to the mat. Bryan connects with an elbow, but Young comes back with an elbow and O’Neil makes the blind tag. O’Neil takes Bryan down with a big boot and slams Bryan down to the mat. O’Neil tags in Young, and they double-team Bryan. Young delivers a back-breaker for a near fall. Young stretches out Bryan’s arm and drives a knee into his back, but Bryan fights out. Young holds onto Bryan and O’Neil tags himself in. O’Neil quickly tags in Barrett, who delivers a Pump-handle Slam for a near fall. Barrett applies a submission, but Bryan fights out. Bryan delivers an elbow and charges at Barrett, but Barrett counters with a huge spinning slam for a near fall. Barrett tags in O’Neil, who drives his knee into Bryan’s throat. O’Neil picks Bryan up and slams him down to the mat. Young comes in and O’Neil slams him onto Bryan for a near fall. Young applies a submission as Bryan tries to fight out. Bryan does and they exchange right hands. Young sends Bryan off the ropes and connects with a suplex and a bridging pin for a near fall. O’Neil tags in and delivers two back-breakers and tosses Bryan to the other side of the ring. O’Neil goes for a Spear, but Bryan reverses and gets his boots into O’Neil’s face. Kane and Young get tagged in, and Kane takes him down and smashes him with a clothesline in the corner. Kane decks Barrett and drops Young with a side slam for a near fall. Kane goes up top and connects with a clothesline. O’Neil breaks up the pin attempt, but Kingston takes out O’Neil and Barrett before Young takes him out. Young dives off the top rope, but Kane catches him with a choke slam. Kane tags in Bryan, who hits the diving headbutt from the top rope. Bryan locks Young in the No Lock and he taps out.
Winners: Team Hell No and Kofi Kingston.

We go backstage and Matt Striker is interviewing Sheamus. Striker asks for Sheamus’ comments on his match against Dolph Ziggler tonight. Sheamus says the good news is that John Cena can’t interfere and the bad news is that Ziggler is facing him tonight. Sheamus says he is not facing Ziggler tonight, though, because he sees The Big Show across the ring from him in every one of his matches. Sheamus says Ziggler will be begging for Cena to put him out of his misery after he is done with him. Sheamus says he is going to kick Ziggler’s head clean off of his shoulders.

We see that we will revisit The Shield’s sit-down interview and their attack on Kane, Daniel Bryan, and Ryback from this past Monday’s Raw after the commercial break.

We’re back and we see the video package of The Shield attacking Kane and Daniel Bryan and then laying out Ryback again.

Damien Sandow makes his way to the ring. He introduces himself and says he will not abandon the masses. He says he will not be focusing on the masses, but he will be sharing his infinite wisdom on an individual basis. He says he will select one member from the audience to be his apprentice. He picks a man and brings him into the ring. The guy is celebrating and Sandow tells him to stop. Sandow says he will ask a series of three questions and the guy has to get them right. He asks how many wheels are on a tricycle, how often does the United States hold a Presidential election, and what is the orbital velocity of Jupiter’s moon Europa. The guy got the first two right, but misses the last one (which is 13.74 km/sec). Sandow says he has embarrassed himself, his family, and the entire state of Louisiana. Sandow tells him to leave the United States and says, “You’re welcome.”

Match #4: Damien Sandow vs. Tyson Kidd
Kidd kicks Sandow and Sandow rolls out of the ring, but his offense doesn’t last long. Sandow comes back and controls Kidd before dropping the Elbow of Disdain. Sandow gets Kidd in a headlock, but Kidd fights out and connects with a cross-body. Kidd connects with some kicks, and Sandow goes to the corner. Kidd kicks Sandow in the head and then hits a dropkick for a near fall. Kidd comes off the top rope and attempts an elbow drop, but Sandow counters and hits his finisher for the pin fall.
Winner: Damien Sandow.

We see a video package of John Cena’s Make-A-Wish history.

We go backstage, and Matt Striker asks Dolph Ziggler if he has something to prove after losing to John Cena this past Monday on Raw. Ziggler says it was a Handicap Match since AJ Lee ran down. Ziggler says Cena is not to be trusted and is the biggest liar in the history of the WWE. He says liars deserve what is coming to them, which is a shot to the back of the head with the Money in the Bank briefcase. Ziggler says when Sheamus looks his way, he is looking at the next World Heavyweight Champion.

Match #5: Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal (w/Drew McIntyre) vs. The Usos
The Usos control the early part of the match against Slater. Slater comes back and stomps away on Jimmy. Slater tags in Mahal, who takes Jimmy down with a butterfly suplex. Jimmy comes back and takes Mahal down with a big chop and tags in Jey. Jey takes Mahal down with a Samoan Drop and smashes him in the corner. Jimmy takes Slater down, but Mahal takes Jey down with a slam for the pin fall.
Winners: 3MB

Match #6: Dolph Ziggler vs. Sheamus
Sheamus shoves Ziggler into the corner and then takes him down with a slam. Ziggler sends Sheamus off the ropes, but Sheamus comes back with a shoulder block. Ziggler takes Sheamus down and gloats, and Sheamus comes back and pounds away on him in the corner. Sheamus takes Ziggler down with a reverse elbow and then delivers a scoop slam and an elbow drop for a one count. Ziggler shoves Sheamus to the outside and attempts to dive onto him, but Sheamus catches him and slams him into the barricade. Sheamus shoves Ziggler back into the ring, but Ziggler rolls to the floor on the other side. Sheamus tosses Ziggler back into the ring again and goes after him, but Ziggler drapes him over the top rope as we go to a commercial.
We’re back and Ziggler is in control of Sheamus. Ziggler locks in a headlock and Sheamus powers out. Sheamus connects with some right hands and charges at Ziggler, but Ziggler trips him into the middle rope. Ziggler chokes Sheamus in the corner and then stomps away on him. Ziggler delivers a headbutt and charges in the corner, but Sheamus elevates him over the top rope and delivers his vintage ten clubbing blows. Sheamus suplexes Ziggler back into the ring and goes up top. Sheamus jumps off, but Ziggler moves and connects with a DDT for a near fall. Ziggler stalks Sheamus and goes for the Zig-Zag, but Sheamus reverses into a back-breaker for a near fall. Ziggler kicks Sheamus and then rolls him up for a two count. Sheamus goes for White Noise, but Ziggler rolls through. Sheamus catches Ziggler in the Texas Cloverleaf as The Big Show runs down and interferes.
Winner by disqualification: Sheamus.
After the match, Show delivers a headbutt and beats down Sheamus in the ring. Ziggler joins in and they double-team Sheamus before John Cena runs down and goes after Show. Cena hits Ziggler with the AA and then he and Sheamus double suplex Show. They shoulder block him out of the ring. Cena and Sheamus celebrate in the ring as Show looks on from the outside as Smackdown comes to a close.
