Furnas signed to donate his brain to the Sports Legacy Institute

Doug Furnas was a supporter of the Sports Legacy Institute, and had signed to donate his brain after death, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. 

Sadly, decomposition had set in to the point that examination of any of his organs would not be possible.
On a side note, Meltzer lists his age at 52, not 50 as reported by various sources.
