Welcome to RAW from London!

R-Truth comes out to start the show
Truth says he’s happy, after all his trials and tribulations he is in line for the WWE title. He doesn’t care who he faces. He says when he’s champion he will fight anyone anywhere. He will be the “fightingist” champion of all time.

John Morrison interrupts and heads to the ring.

Morrison says he’s happy for R-Truth, but says he got lucky. Morrison has them roll some footage of R-Truth needing water in the ring between gauntlet matches. Morrison calls Truth out on what kind of shape he’s in. Then Morrison says: “I think you’re in good shape for an athlete who smokes”. Truth says Morrison is just trying to get in his head so he will challenge him to a match for his spot at Extreme Rules. Morrison says since the draft is next week, this may be their last chance to face each other. After a bit of back and forth R-Truth agrees, but says he needs two things, he asks if anyone has a bottle of water or a cigarette. Everyone laughs.
Morrison asks for a ref, and gets one.

Match One:
R-Truth vs. Morrison for the spot at Extreme Rules
Opening tie up and a bit of back and forth….before R-Truth leaves the ring to get some water lol and we head to commercial.

Back from break and Morrison is hitting an arm drag. R-Truth gets numerous pin attempts, to no avail. JR comments that R-Truth’s hydration level is excellent. R-Truth hits a huge flying kick, and gets a 2 count. Morrison hits a drop kick and gets a 1, almost 2 count. Good back and forth action in this match. Morrison hits Starship pain for the win. Morrison is going to the main event at Extreme Rules!
Winner and new co-number 1 contender: John Morrison

After the match: R-Truth pulls Morrison off the turn-buckle and hits a running knee to Morrison’s head, knocking him out of the ring, outside of the ring he hits another running knee. getting a lot of heat from the crowd now. He grabs a bottle of water of the announce table and hits Morrison in the head with it. Loud “R-Truth sucks” chant now. R-Truth hits the Lie Detector, then proceeds to bum a cigarette off someone in the crowd, lights it, and proceeds to smoke it. This is great family entertainment, folks. “That’s illegal” chant going now. He blows his second-hand smoke in Morrison’s face. Then flicks the cigarette at him, and walks off with a smile on his face.

Coming out of commercial they show a promo for next weeks draft.

They show a video recap of R-Truth turning heel and attacking Morrison.

Evan Bourne is in the ring, and Vickie comes out to a ton of heat as usual. She’s introducing “the new and improved” Dolph Ziggler, who has a new hair-cut. My first reaction was: “Wow, now he looks like Evan Bourne”

Match two:
Dolph Ziggler vs. Evan Bourne

Bourne in control, early but not for long as Dolph hits a flying drop kick, right to Bourne’s upper body as he was in mid air coming off the turn buckle. Bourne gets back in control with some leg kicks, and hits a spinning kick to Dolph’s head. Bourne to the top rope for the shooting star press, but Dolph moves and Evan lands on his feet! Ziggler hits the Zig-Zag and scores the pin. Pretty good finish actually. Short match, but some good action. I personally would like to see them get more time next time.

Winner by pinfall: Dolph Ziggler.

Apparently tonight Michael Cole will get “knighted”

The Raw rewind is a replay of all of Sin Cara’s highlights thus far in WWE.
King says Sin Cara will be in action next.

A video tribute to Edge is shown. Hard to watch for me, truly one of the best of all-time. Glad I got to see him live so many times.

Friday night Alberto Del Rio is going to have a retirement party for Edge. I’m sure that will be fantastic.
Miz is out with Alex Riley. Miz saying he has been preparing for a triple-threat against R-Truth and John Cena, but R-Truth was stupid and blew his shot, and those actions affected him. Now he has less time to prepare, and on top of that, now its a cage match! Miz refuses to leave the ring until the GM makes this right. Alex gets him a chair, at his request. Miz sits in the middle of the ring, and clearly has no intention of leaving.

Coming out of break Miz is talking. Miz says at Extreme Rules, he will still be champion at the end of the match. Sin Cara’s music hits, and he’s headed for the ring. Sin Cara had a scheduled match against Riley. Both Miz and Riley are in the ring with Sin Cara. Cena’s music hits, and he runs toward the ring. Lots of boos, he seems to be getting more of that each week.

GM chimes in, and Cole has an email to read on his iPad. The match is changed to a tag match.

John Cena and Sin Cara vs. The Miz and Alex Riley
Cena and Riley to start. Cena goes right to work on Riley, more boos from the crowd. Cena whips Alex into the turnbuckle. He rolls out of the ring as we go to commercial.

Back from break and Cena is still in control, now Miz is the legal man though. Cena hits a suplex on the Miz, he went for the Attitude Adjustment but Miz countered. Miz goes for the cover and gets a near fall. Riley tags in, and is pummeling Cena in the corner. Miz tags back in. “Lets go Cena”/”Cena sucks” chants going. Cena sucks chant is louder. Sin Cara and The Miz now the legal men. Sin Cara hitting tons of offense on the Miz. Sin Cara appeared to go for a splash off the ropes, but Riley pulled his legs out. Miz now in control. Miz with a big boot to the face of Sin Cara, cover and a two count. Riley now the legal man, as they try to isolate Sin Cara. Riley went for a cover, two count. Miz tags back in. Hot tags made, Cena and Riley in the ring now. Cena hits the five knuckle shuffle and the attitude adjustment. Miz has left apparently. Cena tags in Sin Cara, and he hits the springboard moonsault. Sin Cara scores the pinfall on Riley.

Winners via pinfall: John Cena and Sin Cara.
I have no idea where the Miz went. lol

Later Michael Cole will be knighted by the Queen of England, and Randy Orton will face C.M. Punk

Coming out of break another video is shown for Awesome Kong’s Debut.

Up next is a Divas match.
Eve is out first, the Bellas are out next. Nikki is going to be the opponent.

Eve vs. Nikki Bella

Eve in control after a tie-up. Eve puts Nikki tree of woe, and looks to slam her in the corner, Nikki moves. Nikki now in control, and has Eve in a head lock. Eve lands a kick to Nikki’s head, and goes right into a roll-up for the pinfall. Not much to this match, and the crowd wasn’t in it all.

Winner via pinfall: Eve

Cole interrupts the celebration and says its time to get to the main portion of the evening. In just a few minutes Cole will become “Sir” Michael Cole

After the break we’re shown a video of JR costing Swagger the match last week, and Cole slapping Swagger, and then Cole getting the 619 from Mysterio.

Cole is in the ring, with red carpet and all. He introduces his trainer and “friend” Jack Swagger. Cole puts on a cape that must’ve come straight out of the king of the ring prop closet. Swagger is on the mic and says after tonight Cole will no longer be known as “Mr. Wrestlemania” he will be “Sir Michael Cole”. Swagger introduces Queen Elizabeth, clearly this is not the real Queen, but everyone is singing God Save the Queen, including Cole. Lawler looks incredulous.

Cole takes an oath, and is “knighted” by the Queen, and then kisses her! Cole on the mic and says tries to get a “Sir Michael Cole” chant going, but people are just saying “sucks” after it haha. Cole tells them all to be silent, because they’re now all his peasants. He demands that Lawler and JR show some respect and get in the ring and kiss his feet. They get in the ring and Swagger attacks Lawler. Cole tells JR to kiss his feet, and Swagger hops back in the ring and grabs JR, and puts him in the ankle lock until he kisses Cole’s feet. Cole has some gross fungus looking stuff on his foot.
Cole says that will be a lesson to all of us, he is now SIR Michael Cole.

C.M. Punk vs. Orton still to come!

Another promo for the draft is shown coming out of break.

Santino is out next for a match.

Cole reiterates that he is an athlete, hence the athlete’s foot.
Sheamus is out next, with a mic, and says last time they were in England, Santino embarrassed him, so tonight he will embarrass Santino.

Santino vs. Sheamus in a non-title match

Sheamus in control right away. Sheamus landing numerous kicks, and then a clothesline. Sheamus lands a few elbow drops and goes for the pin, two count. Cole is bragging about making JR kiss his feet. He says he may get invited to the royal wedding. Somehow I doubt that happens. Sheamus still in control. I don’t think Santino has had any offense yet, he goes for the Cobra, but appears stunned and stumbles around. Sheamus hits the Brogue kick, and gets the pinfall.

Winner via pinfall: U.S. Champ; Sheamus

They show a replay of Morrison beating R-Truth and and being attacked by R-Truth again.

Orton vs. Punk is up next.

Punk is introduced 1st, and we’re told Nexus is banned from ringside.
Orton comes out next, pretty good pop for him.

Tie up and Punk comes out of it with Orton in a head-lock. Dueling chants now for Orton and Punk. Orton takes control back and has Punk in the corner, and is stomping him down. Vintage Stone Cold. Punk now has Orton in the corner and lands a few knees to the head of the Viper. Clothesline by Orton, Punk back up, and right into a power-slam. Orton looks for the RKO and gets its countered by Punk, both men down heading into a break.

coming out of break Punk in control and body-slamming Orton. Orton battles out of a head lock, but Punk takes him down again and goes for the pin. Two count. Punk with a suplex and a cover, two count. Orton whipped into the ropes, and runs right into the knee of Punk. Orton rolls out of the ring to catch his breath, Punk off the apron with a flying clothesline. Orton tossed back into the ring. Punk blows a kiss to the crowd as he sets Orton up for a suplex, Orton with a roll-up, Punk kicks out after two. Punk with a submission attempt. Orton bit Punk’s hand to get out of it. I question the legality of that lol, the ref didn’t see it.
Orton attempts a cover, gets a two count. Both men up, and Punk hits a couple leg kicks. Orton hits the Angle-slam. Cover and a two count. Punk with another flying clothesline, this time off the ropes. Cover and a two count. Punk back up to the turnbuckle, Orton back up and landing punches. Orton looking for a Suplex off the top rope, and hits it! Cover….two count. Punk rolled out to the apron, and dragged Punk for the DDT, Punk counters, and goes for the GTS, Orton counters. Orton with a roll up, and gets the pin!

Winner via pinfall: Randy Orton

New Nexus out to the ring, now that the match is over. They have Orton surrounded, and they go right to work pounding him in the corner. Punk is taunting Orton now. Mason Ryan is setting up to punt Orton! Punk stops him, and Punk sets up for the punt instead! He runs at Orton and gets RKO’d out of nowhere! Orton rolls out of the ring and heads up the ramp. Nexus is furious in the ring as Raw goes off the air.
