ROH Survival of the Fittest 2010 Results

Here’s the results from the ROH show in Dearborn MI on Friday 11/12.

SotF match 1: Rhett Titus defeated Colt Cabana after placing the ring bell on the middle turnbuckle and leg tripping Colt into it.

SotF 2: Claudio Castignoli pinned Grizzly Redwood.

SotF 3: Kevin Steen pinned Kyle O’Reilly after a brain-buster.

SotF 4: Adam Cole pilled Steve Corino with a roll up. After the match Corino and Steen started a beat down on Cole which brought out El Generico, who had the upper hand until Steen picked him up on the ring apron and power slammed him through the time keepers table.

SotF 5: Eddie Edwards submitted Chris Hero with the Achillies Lock. At one point Edwards did a suicide dive onto Hero and looked to re-injure his shoulder.

SotF 6: Kenny King pinned El Generico after a running double knee that slammed El Generico into the corner followed up with a small package.

Match 7: Homicide pinned Andy Ridge in a “Trial Series Match 3”. Homicide racked his nails down Ridge’s back and drew 4 streaks of blood. Pin came after a gringo cutter followed by a clothesline.

Main Event 1: Briscoe Brothers and Christopher Daniels defeated Roderick Strongand the House of Truth (which turned out to be Zack Gowen and Mike Elkin)when Christopher Daniels pinned Zack Gowen after the BME. Awesome match. High spots included Gowen doing a summersault off the top rope onto Daniels outside the ring, Elkin picking up one Briscoe on his back and one across his chest and doing a combination fall away slam/samoan drop.

SotF Final: Everyone at the ring when Kevin Steen is lead down. El Generico attacks putting Steen into the metal guard rail then sending him into the ring. Castagnoli takes advantage and pins Steen. King and Titus work over Claudio, who eventually makes the tag to Adam Cole, who gets beat down until Claudio tags himself in and pinns Cole. Titus comes in and tags Eddie Edwards who tries to fight with Claudio until Claudio grabs the injured arm and yanks down. Edwards rolls out and the refs take him to the back. Titus tries to jump Claudio but gets pinned for his trouble. Kenny King and Claudio go at it and just as Kenny pins Claudio, Eddie Edwards comes back out. Eventually Eddie gets Kenny in the Achillies lock and get the win and the 7 foot trophy. During the post match celebration Colt is talking to Eddie who still isn’t using his arm. When they go to leave, Eddie can’t roll out onto his right shoulder and has to go to another side of the ring to roll out.

Over all I’d give the show a 4 out of 5.
