Biography

– McNeil holds a degree in Computer Information Systems from Western Carolina University, where he was a regular All-Conference selectee
– From 2004 to 2006, McNeil was on the practice squads of several NFL teams, but never played a game in the major leagues
– McNeil signed a WWE development deal in mid-2009 and would soon become known as ‘Percy Watson’
– On June 1, 2010, Watson was announced a cast member of the second season of NXT
– In late 2010, following the conclusion of the NXT season, Watson began competing on Smackdown brand house shows
– Watson returned to WWE television in September 2011, competing on WWE’s B-Shows and on the 5th season of NXT
– In May 2013, Watson was released by WWE.
– Watson returned to NXT as an announcer on the November 30, 2016 episode
– In April 2018, Watson began announcing on 205 Live
– In early 2019, Watson was gradually removed from his various announcing positions. It was announced in May that he was leaving WWE to pursue an acting career amongst other interests
