Biography

– In his early career, Mailhot wrestled as ‘Brian Black’
– In his debut match for Maine’s EWA, Black was defeated by Larry Huntley. Following the match, Mailhot took the unusual step of become the commissioner for the brand whilst continuing to train his in ring skills at their school
– On October 13, 2001, Black defeated Chris Venom in an Anything Goes Match to win the ICCW Heavyweight Title
– On May 17, 2003, Team Tap Out (Black & Johnny Curtis) defeated The Elements Of Suicide (Onyx & Cinna) to win the EWA Tag Team Titles
– On June 14, Team Tap Out defeated Assault & Battery (Rick Daniels & Larry Huntley) to retain the EWA Tag Team Titles
– On August 23, Black & The Mighty Mini defeated Attrition (Mike Studd & Christian Angers) to win the CW Tag Team Titles
– On September 12, Black & Mini defeated The Local Legends (Dukes Dalton & Tim McNeany) in a Bunkhouse Match to retain the CW Tag Team Titles
– On October 4, Black & Mini defeated Pete Mulloy & Matthew Evagrius to retain the CW Tag Team Titles

– On March 18, Black defeated Maverick Wild to win the CW Heavyweight Title, but would vacate the title soon after, having signed a WWE development deal

– In April 2006, Mailhot flew home from a WWE European tour and quit the company, citing harassment from JBL as his reason. He was officially granted his release on April 27. After a few independent appearances through the remainder of the year, Mailhot quit the wrestling business entirely
– Mailhot made his MMA debut on August 23, 2008, defeating Tony Rea by knockout after just over one minute of the second round
– Mailhot revived the Palmer Canon character for one night only at All Out Mayhem in November 2010. He defeated Captain Freedom to win their Heavyweight Title, before dropping it to Larry Zbyszko later that night
