- ODB said she has been working a lot of wrestling dates recently, working almost every weekend.
- She talked about doing several all women wrestling shows. ODB said the audience is more supportive of the actual wrestling at all women shows.
- She was a big fan of wrestling growing up, and her parents took her to independent shows.
- ODB was trained by Eddie Sharkey, finding his school by searching the internet. She trained for five days a week for a year.
- Her first round of matches were against Lacey from Ring of Honor, who was also training at Sharkey’s school.
- After four months of training, Sharkey booked her for her first match.
- When asked what she learned the most from Sharkey, she said, “don’t trust anyone” (in this business.
- Before entering wrestling school, she danced, played baseball, softball and ice hockey.
- ODB’s all time favorite wrestler is “The Macho Man” Randy Savage. She also enjoyed Sherri Martel and Jake “The Snake” Roberts.
- “It was just more colorful back then,” referring to Wrestlemanias from the 1980s and 90s, as she prefers pure wrestling over sports entertainment.
- She said she doesn’t have a home federation.
- Her brother called her a ‘db’ one-day, and the name ODB stuck.
- Her first inter-gender match was against Shawn (Khosrow) Daiviri. She said he had to job to her back in the day.
- ODB is proud of Daiviri making it to WWE, and they still talk about once a week.
- ODB feels her strength is her ability to entertain in the ring. She identified a weakness as a lack of wrestling moves.
- She said she is something like her in ring character.
- She would enjoy working for Ring of Honor and Cyberspace Wrestling on the east coast.
- ODB watches “Raw” and “Smackdown” each week, but wishes they would do more with the women. She said the recent diva search was a joke.
- She worked as Poison in October 2004 in a dark match against Tracy Brooks for TNA. Terry Taylor and Jerry Lynn were the agents for the match and gave ODB some pointers.
- She identified her best match as an inter-gender match as ODB teamed with Daiviri vs. Ken Anderson and Tracy Brooks.
- ODB would like to work for a major promotion somewhere down the road, but she is happy working the independents right now.
- She talked about trying out for the first “Tough Enough” competition before she was a trained wrestler.
- Career highlight? Her TNA match against Brooks.
- She is not against doing t & a type matches if it tells a story.
- ODB classifies herself as a natural heel.
- Biggest name opponents? Sherri Martel, Luna Vachon, Brooks. She talked about working against Jazz in the future.
- She says being big doesn’t help get her bookings in Mexico. She would love to work in Japan.
- ODB’s dream match opponent is WWE’s Victoria.
- She works out two days a week with Tracy Brooks.
