Headlines for Saturday, April 11, 2009

- Both WWE hall of famers Ric Flair and Dusty Rhodes were approached about assuming the role of Smackdown general manager. Flair turned down what is believed to be a $250,000 deal.

- 4/10 Smackdown TV results from Austin, TX: Big Show over Kofi Kingston; The Great Khali over Santino Marella; Gail Kim over Michelle McCool; Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase Jr. over Carlito & Primo Colon, and Matt Hardy over Jeff Hardy in a stretcher match.

- Hulk Hogan and his attorney were back in court trying to prevent Linda's 20 year old boyfriend Charlie from driving the expensive cars the family own under the same insurance that the Hulkster is paying. "We don't want to get sued for what he does," said Hogan's attorney. Hogan then said that Charlie is "endangering the public" by driving his cars. Obviously Hogan forgot that his son Nick did the same, putting his friend John Graziano in a bed, brain dead, for life a few years ago. Hogan had his arm in a sling and when the TMZ.COM paps asked him what happened he said he had some chips taken out. Hogan added that he wish he was at WrestleMania and when the paparazzo jokingly said that Jennifer - Hogan's girlfriend - was going to be a new Diva, Hogan said, "Oh I don't think so, brother!" and then added, "It's better to have a new Diva than an old Diva," an obvious shot at his soon-to-be former wife Linda.

- Poll results: Are you tired of Orton and Triple H feuding?

- Former WWE diva Victoria wrote in her blog that former WWE executive Bruce Prichard was working for TNA, but he actually works for Layfield Energy.

- AAA responded to the Juventud Guerrera controversy in their own way last night as they parodied the situation with Billy Boy playing Juventud Guerrera, Jack Evans wearing a blond wig as Lizzy Valentine, and Konnan guest starring as himself.
