- The class of 2009 was inducted into the WWE hall of fame in Houston, TX at the Toyota Center. Steve Austin by Vince McMahon; Terry and Dory Funk by Dusty Rhodes; Ricky Steamboat by Ric Flair; The Von Erich's as a family unit by Michael Hayes; Bill Watts by Jim Ross; Howard Finkel by Gene Okerlund; and Koko B. Ware by The Honky Tonk Man.


- 4/3 Smackdown TV results from Dallas, TX: Gail Kim & Maria over Maryse & Michelle McCool; MVP over Shelton Benjamin to retain the U.S. title; and Jeff Hardy over Ezekial Jackson.


- Two of the most popular WWE Superstars in the WWE, Triple H and Shawn Michaels, did a Q&A session with The Fink yesterday at Axxess in the main ring area. WWE staff collected questions from fans before the Q&A session. The questions were mostly the usual ques about their careers, WrestleMania and the Fink asking "rapid fire questions" where they had to give the first answer that came to mind. When he asked both where they see their WWE career 10 years down the raod, HBK replied, "Over," which got a big laugh from the crowd. Triple H said that he won't be wrestling but he will still be around WWE to which Shawn said that it's not like he has any different option, considering he's married to the boss' daughter. When the Fink asked when did it hit them that they are true Superstars, Triple H turned around and pointed to a little girl and a disabled fan in a wheelchair and said that when he see smiles on their faces when he's out that really shows him that he made it. The answer got an applause from the crowd.


- 16 WWE Superstars, Legends and Divas participated in the annual THQ Superstar Challenge with Legends of WrestleMania being the game played this time around. The challengers were Dusty and Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase - both father and son - Sgt Slaughter, CM Punk, Michelle McCool, Beth Phoenix, Finlay, Hornswoggle, Nikki and Brie Bella, Brian Kendrick, Ezekiel Jackson, Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne. The finals saw Kofi defeating Cody Rhodes for the title but then Shelton Benjamin - who won several of these THQ challenges in the past - came out and the two squared off in a champion vs champion match to which Kofi came out the winner again. Shelton then shook Kingston's hands after their match but told him he still has a lot to go to reach him when it comes to tournament winnings.


- Former WWE champion Hulk Hogan has an interview with PopEater.com where he talks about a variety of subjects including tomorrow's WrestleMania. When asked if he was going to be in Houston for the show, Hogan said that he was supposed to wrestle John Cena for the title but back surgery screwed up the whole plan. "Vince and I were talking about how much involvement I wanted to have in WrestleMania, and if I wanted to keep wrestling, and out of nowhere my back just got really crazy. I went in for an MRI and I had to have some emergency surgery that threw me out of the game. I was kind of flipped out about it, I thought I'd be the main event this year," Hogan said. Around the No Way Out pay-per-view it was revealed that Hogan and McMahon talked about the possibility for that match and the plan was to go ahead with it which is why Cena was thrown into the three-way since the Hogan match went up in smoke.


4/3 ROH show results from Houston, TX: Erick Stevens over Rhett Titus; Chris Hero & Eddie Edwards & Incognito over Jay Briscoe & Kevin Steen & Magno; Roderick Strong over Katsuhiko Nakajima; Bobby Dempsey vs. Kamala was a no contest; Claudio Castagnoli ovr Blue Demon Jr., Brent Albright & El Generico in a four way; Bryan Danielson over Alex Kozlov; D'Lo Brown over Colt Cabana; KENTA over Davey Richards; Austin Aries & Jimmy Jacobs over Necro Butcher & Tyler Black; and Jerry Lynn over Nigel McGuinness to win the ROH title.


- UFC Fight Night 18 at the Sommet Center in Nashville, TN drew a reported 10,267 fans.
