- TNA President Dixie Carter couldn't pass the opportunity to respond to
Vince McMahon's comments regarding TNA in an interview he did with The
Hollywood Reporter. McMahon called some of the stuff on TNA television
"reprehensible, " and blasted the company for carrying a TV-14 rating to
their shows when in fact WWE was just that until a couple of months ago.
"You will never see us use a baseball bat," McMahon added, forgetting that
Triple H runs around with a sledge hammer attacking people. "I think it's
wonderful that Vince watches TNA iMPACT," Carter said in comments to
SunSport in the UK. "And I agree with him that things such as the brutal
beating of a sixty-year-old man, a vicious home invasion and gratuitous
man-on-woman violence can be seen as reprehensible. ..and that's just the
last three Monday nights," she added, referring to the violence shown on RAW
over the past couple of weeks.

- The proposed Tim Sylvia vs. Ray Mercer boxing match slated for 5/30 in Atlantic City, NJ
won't be happening, at least not right now. The New Jersey State Athletic Control Board
refused to sanction the 47-year-old world champion with 20 years pro experience against Sylvia.
The former UFC heavyweight champion has never competed in a boxing match. Promoter Monte Cox is
hoping to move the match to another state.
