- The 3/6 edition of Smackdown did a 2.0 rating, down from last week's 2.3.


- Raw on 3/9 did a 3.66 cable rating with an average audience of 5.4 million viewers.


- World Wrestling Entertainment results from the RAW broadcast at the Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, FL, on March 9: JBL over CM Punk to win the WWE Inter-Continental Heavyweight Title; Maryse over Melina; Kofi Kingston over Chris Jericho in a qualifier for WrestleMania’s Money-in-the-Bank match, with some helpful distraction from Ric Flair; Rey Mysterio, Jr., Finlay & Christian over Kane, John Morrison & the Miz; and Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase, Jr., over Triple H by forfeit in a handicap match when HHH failed to show, instead breaking into the supposed home of Randy Orton and attacking him before being arrested. Koko B. Ware was officially announced into the 2009 WWE Hall of Fame, to be inducted by the Honky Tonk Man.

* 1992 - Dr. Death defeated Tom Prichard to win the USWA Southern title
* 2007 - Ernie Ladd passed away at 68 after a lengthy battle with cancer.
